I always thought they edited out Mel Phillips from WM3 because you can see him telling Joey Marella not to tell Mary Hart to ring the bell and she rang it unknowingly, it sounds silly but now I'm reading about his past, I can see why they would take him out now, wow.

Currently watching the first Survivor Series and the faces entrance has the audio substituted to not use Ricky Steamboat's theme.
This post is a work in progress.

Currently watching the first Survivor Series and the faces entrance is heavily edited to not use Ricky Steamboat's theme. An onscreen chat between Jesse and Gorilla about the Jumping Bomb Angels were edited out as well. I don't think that's true. I went over the entire show and basically the stuff that's missing is Gorilla and Jesse did a "test from your local cable company" that's edited out, the merchandise promos and some banter between Jesse making fun of Gorilla after the merchandise promos saying they don't have a shirt big enough to fit him are edited out, and Finkel counting down to the Survivor Series is edited out but everything else is in tact. Also there's zero edits for the faces entrance. They just substitute the audio because of Steamboat's theme but they do not edit any video for his entrance unlike some uploads where they do edit out video during the entrance. Edit: At 1 hour 56 minutes Jesse and Gorilla start talking about the Jumping Bomb Angels on the Network version so that is not edited out.

The Network version of Bloopers Bleeps And Bodyslams edits out a clip from Pipers Pit where Andre The Giant slaps Roddy Piper
Also about 6 seconds of Vince McMahon interviewing people on the streets is removed. I'm sure this was removed because you had music playing in the background.

I made the post after watching only the first two matches. Substituting the audio for the faces entrance is what I was referring to. Audio edits are my pet peeve.

Well you'll be very happy that it seems like now, they opted to just cut things out when there's music instead.

I have no idea why at the beginning of "Most Unusual Matches" it says "presented in the most complete form possible due to original production technical difficulties" as my VHS to DVD conversion is exactly the same time as the Network version. The Network version is missing the promos for the upcoming cassettes but so was "Bloopers, Bleeps, and Bodyslams" but that didn't have the disclaimer so my guess is that WWE just decided not to including the promos for the upcoming video cassettes, which to me is kind of a shame because as a kid I wanted to know which Coliseum Videos were out there that I had never seen before and the promos was one of the ways to help me in this journey.

That notice about technical difficulties is also used when they don't think some part of the show is up to par in terms of audio or video quality. I was watching a 1987 Prime Time Wrestling episode where the picture started slightly bouncing up and down, and that graphic came up.

Are the takeovers left alone and exactly like they are? or they edited? I have a feeling they edited the f*** PG chants from the Takeover Dallas show.

On the Biggest, Smallest, Strangest, Strongest video. The Intro video montage is sped up slightly so it's about 8 seconds shorter than the original.
Also the end of the Pipers Pit segment with Uncle Elmer where Uncle Elmer says "Get your hands off me boy" has been edited out. On the original VHS right after this Pipers Pit segment they show Uncle Elmer coming down to the ring with. This has been edited out on the Network version and it goes straight to the midgets.
Another edit is they change the music for a 5 minute video package. In the original coliseum video VHS version of Wrestlemania 1 they changed the theme songs for Hulk Hogan and Cyndi Lauper's entrance. They use the Coliseum Video Hogan/Lauper theme for the video package on the original VHS version of Biggest Smallest Strangest Strongest. They use different music on the Network version.

So for once WWE may have been correct with their disclaimer about being in "the most complete form possible". There is 5 seconds missing from the Ivan Putski vs Jesse Ventura Arm Wrestling match on Biggest Smallest Strangest Strongest during the part where Jesse Ventura is taking off his sunglasses and there's no music, profanity, WWF references in those missing 5 seconds. Vince does say the word "Wrestling" but I doubt that's why it's missing. I guess it's very possible that this 5 seconds of footage is missing because the tape was damaged.
Edit: The Tuesday Night Titans 7/30/1984 episode has the Putski/Ventura segment with the 5 seconds of missing footage included on this version. I guess they could have just edited that 5 seconds in using the TNT show, however the color looks way different on the Network version of Tuesday Night Titans and the Network version of Biggest Smallest Strangest and Strongest so maybe that's why they didn't do this.

Raw 782 from May 19, 2008 is missing the whole in-ring segment with Santino Marella, Roddy Piper, and Cousin Sal from Jimmy Kimmel Live. I don't know why they felt the need to remove the whole thing when they could have edited around the JKL footage that Santino showed, but they did.
A backstage segment with Vince McMahon, William Regal, and Ted DiBiase, Jr. is gone, too, since they just cut from one commercial break to the next to get rid of the Santino/RP/CS thing.

Is the segment where Booker T and Goldust review The Scorpion King ("I got a sword!") cut?

I think the cuts you mentioned were to remove snippets or references to music.

Elimination Chamber 2010 - I need to look at the DVD again, but I think they changed a couple of camera angles on Taker's entrance.
You still don't see him get flambe'd, but I swear on the DVD he comes stomping off the smoke with his duster already off. The network version shows him taking off the duster, throwing the belt aside and removing his hat.
I also noticed that there weren't many camera angles showing Taker sitting down in his pod. I was there and remember he was sitting in there a lot.

I think the cuts you mentioned were to remove snippets or references to music. The 5 seconds removed from the Jesse Ventura angle had no music. There's no reason to remove that other than issues with the source. Grudge Matches while it looks to be complete, has some video and audio errors about 1 hour and 22 minutes into it right before the finish of the WM1 main event. It doesn't make sense to me why they don't just pull up Wrestlemania 1 and replace the footage that has errors with footage from the original WM1 tapes that don't have errors.

did Edge's Rob zombie theme get edited out of the network? I know it was deliberately edited from Draft day Raw 2004

did Edge's Rob zombie theme get edited out of the network? They leave it in on Summerslam 2002. They replace Flair's theme with his early 90's WWE theme yet leave Edge's Rob Zombie theme in tact.

From 2002-04, the DVDs of the PPVs would go back and forth between changing or keeping Flair's music seemingly each show. They would also sometimes replace his 1991-93 WWE theme with his regular music from WCW and his return to WWE, which makes no sense.
