Possible music edit on the July 9, 1986 TNT as the Mating Game segment's music almost entirely drowns out Lord Alfred Hayes's introduction, anyone know if this was the case for the original airing?

Does anybody know if the raws during the mcmahon millions giveaway are heavily edited? im guessing the phone numbers are probably blurred I haven’t watched them all, but remember when Vince got Rickrolled on the very first night? “Never Gonna Give You Up” is replaced with generic music.

I knew they'd dub it, but I was still kinda disappointed when they did. Vince just looked so lost and confused when it happened. Priceless.

judgment day 2006 on the network has a few edits. they edited off an ad for the wrestlemania 22 dvd. they also edited off an ad for the one night stand show the next month. on the original version just before the main event, michael cole throws to a trailer of See No Evil with the director and cast interviewed . on the network version they left in Cole throwing to the trailer but then theres a click sound and choppily cuts to the outside of the arena shot with a few seconds of silence before Cole starts speaking again.

Surprising non-edit: The Bruno Sammartino tape keeps in Piper's racial slur during the Piper's Pit segment.

skimmed through the November 2, 2009 Raw that ozzy osbourne hosted with his wife. They kept in his music that played all through the arena. in the opening segment their in the ring and they throw to a video of ozzy's guest appearances in the past. yet they only showed wrestlemania 2 and edited off the musical performance he did on smackdown in 2007. a little weird considering that whole musical performance is intact on that smackdown episode. during the raw special talent segment they left in chris masters pec routine to crazy train. they edit off Chavo Guerrero and Jillian Hall singing Close My Eyes Forever. they just show them reacting to boos and choppily edit them already in the ring when they were on the ramp.

I pulled up The Hulkster Hulk Hogan that was added a few days back. Strange how on the closing credits they use generic music. On the original they use Hogan's theme song that he used for a very short time after he stopped using "Eye of the Tiger" and before he started using "Real American". Strange that they change the music considering that there's a house show from late 1985 in the Old School section where Hogan comes out to this music and they leave that music as is.

Neither of them have a Hogan match.

The October 13th 1985 Boston Garden show aired on Classics on Demand and has Hulk Hogan's 2nd entrance theme but this show has yet to be added to the WWE Network.

Issue with Bonnie Tyler, perhaps? Even the instrumental comes from Score Productions so it was outside of WWE either way.

The song was also included when the Hogan cartoon was on the Network in 2015.

I skimmed through Backlash 2004 to compare with a different version online. on the network version, they edited off a 3 minute video of chris benoit that included clips from his dvd and being given the key to edmonton and also included a shot of his entire family at ringside which was a bit morbid. on the network they just cut to the next match seamlessly after a backstage skit that aired before the benoit package. the network version also left in an ad for John Cena's DVD that was coming out at that time and an ad for the judgment day ppv the next month

Not really an edit but I'm posting anyway. More of a glitch. There are video errors on Summerslam 89 that start when Tony is segwaying into Mene Gene interview with Dusty and ends about 5 seconds into the interview. On the Anthology version it does not have these errors so my guess is that this is not on their original tape but just on the network version.

The intro video gladiator montage to the Andre The Giant coliseum video is about 12 seconds shorter than it should be. Not sure if they sped up the video or if they cut some scenes out.

The Andre The Giant video is missing about 30 seconds of his TNT appearance. At first I thought it was because of the music playing while Vince welcomes Andre The Giant but I just checked the TNT episode that is on the Network and it has the same music as the coliseum video!

Is that 30 seconds missing from the original Andre Coliseum Video or just the Network version?

This is the Network edits thread so it's missing from the Network version.

This is the Network edits thread so it's missing from the Network version. Yes, I understand that. I was asking if the original Andre tape from 1985 is also missing that 30 seconds, or is it missing only from the Network version. If it's missing from the original Andre tape, then that edit was made in 1985 and WWE would have to splice in the missing part for it to be included.

If it was missing from the original Andre tape I wouldn't have mentioned it here. The original Andre tape not counting the bumpers and commercials for the upcoming videos is about 45 seconds longer because 30 seconds are removed from the TNT segment and the video intro montage is a little bit shorter.
