On Thunder 04 (Jan. 29, 1998), the Steiners' entrance for the main event seems to be missing. The show goes from Chris Benoit heading up the aisle to a commercial break, and when it resumes, Kevin Nash and Konnan enter with the Steiners already in the ring. Chris Benoit is part of a match and HE isn't the one edited out ;-) Another Retroactive Jobber Entrance?

KOTR 1995: HBK going to the podium and trying on the crown is cut, there also must have been a merchandise plug as they cut to the ring, since as he's coming to the ring he's wearing a KOTR baseball hat. Finally (not sure if this is an edit), as Shawn makes his entrance the theme song starts with the guitar solo.

A lot of those 90's PPV's on the Network are the coliseum video versions so it's possible it's like that on the Coliseum Video Version.

It's the Coliseum Video version, which cut two merchandise plugs by Bruce Prichard (during Shawn Michaels's entrance and after Bret Hart's match). It's also missing the In Your House ad right before Mabel's coronation.

i was skimming through the royal rumble 2003 and it must be from the ppv version. i have the dvd and a lot of what got edited out was left in on the network. a sean o haire and nathan jones promo was left on the network. there was even an ad for the upcoming house show tour left in. a graphic for the no way out 2003 show was left in and if you pause it real quick you can see the phone number of the ticket broker before it gets blurred over. an ad for a uk ppv was edited off the network after angle vs benoit. after team angle makes their way to the back the screen goes to back but then goes to benoit getting a standing ovation. edge and 3 minute warning's theme got dubbed over on the network

Non-edit: The 4-14-97 RAW keeps in the pop-up ad for Pacific Blue, Silk Stalkings, and The Big Easy (the lineup is also called "Sunday Night Heat).

I can't remember if I listed all of the WM1 edits but here's an edit that I never listed on the first Wrestlemania
They edit the audio after the SD Jones vs King Kong Bundy match to say "lets go back to our lockerroom" They must have used the audio of Gorilla Monsoon saying "locker room" from a different part of the show because on the original Gorilla says "Lets go back to our Lordship" and Lord Alfred Hayes talks for about 30 seconds about the upcoming match between Ricky Steamboat and Matt Bourne while King Kong Bundy and Jimmy Hart can be seen in the background leaving the ring. This is edited out on the Network version.

On Wrestlemania 1 they took out about 3 seconds from before the Ladies championship starts because of the graphic below. This graphics is in the original broadcast as well as the coliseum video version however it's not on the Network version. I'm thinking it's probably because it says "WWF". It's a shame that they settled the lawsuit but are still taking out WWF references.

This is edited out on the Network version. The 2005 WrestleMania Anthology version has the same edit, plus the edit to Howard Finkel's intro to the women's match you mentioned. I'm not sure why those cuts are still on the Network version when many of the WWF references were re-added. For example, Tito Santana's pre-match interview is unedited on the Network while the Anthology DVD has a blatant jump cut that removes the first part of his promo about "the big leagues, here in the WWF."

Yeah I just checked. The Chyron for the WWF Tag Title match has been added back in but they left the one out for the woman's title match. Maybe the WM1 is the anthology version and they just tried to add back all the WWF references but accidentally forgot to add that one back.

Correction Gorilla Monsoon on the original Wrestlemania 1 broadcast says "Lets go back to our Lordship in the locker room area" and then it goes to Alfred Hayes talking about Steamboat's match. On the Network version they edit out the words "Lordship in the" so Gorilla sounds like he's saying "Let's go back to our locker room area"

They took some audio out of the woman's match as well to make the ring introductions fit. Finkel's "It is scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit" has been edited out of the audio on the Network version.

So after watching again, I'm guessing that the reason Alfred talking about Steamboat vs Matt Bourne was edited out is because Alfred says "A Newcomer to the WWF is Ricky Steamboat".

So I can confirm that the Coliseum Video version and the Network version of King of the Ring 93 are the same however I just put my Classics on Demand version of KOTR 93 in and compared it to the Network version and the Network version is actually longer than the COD version and the interviews on both are exactly the same. What's different about the Classics on Demand version and the Network version. I was expecting to see different interviews.

What's different about the Classics on Demand version and the Network version. I was expecting to see different interviews. The PPV version wouldn't have the Coliseum Video exclusive interviews conducted by Terry Taylor. However, it would have a segment (after Bret/Perfect) where Taylor interviews a family in attendance. That segment is not on the Coliseum version and is therefore not on the Network. These listings of what aired on COD and when makes it seem like WWE showed the Coliseum edition in June 2008 and the PPV version in September 2011. The line up for the 2008 airing doesn't mention Taylor interviewing the family but the 2011 line up does. suckmet.com/wrestling/wwe247.html

Okay you are exactly right. there's two interviews that are on the Coliseum video version but not on the Classics on Demand version. Interview with Smoking Guns and interview with Mr. Perfect. The classics on demand version interviews a random family.
The classics on Demand version's Hogan vs Yokozuna match is 1 minute and 30 seconds shorter than the Network version. They did edit out some stuff from the Hogan vs Yokozuna match on the Classics on Demand version for instance when Hogan's music is playing they show the Titantron that has the graphic for the Hogan vs Yokozuna match and they edit that off. I'm sure the reason it's edited is because that graphic says "WWF World Title match" at the top of it.

the Steve Austin Hall of Fame video that aired on the 3/30/09 raw before Mania 25 is edited. they took out clips of Austin on Live with Regis & Kelly, The Tonight Show, Nash Bridges, Celebrity Death, Late Night, and a Sportscenter ad. Cult of Personality is intact though
