Apologies if this was mentioned already but WWE has edited out the post-match segment with Drew McIntyre singing with Tyson Fury after Clash at the Castle. The event ends with Roman walking up the ramp and then goes to the post-show PPV recap video.

It's been gone since the changeover to the new app/website back in August, though it's odd it took them 11 months to notice.

On the Oct. 9, 2023 Raw, they have inserted Sami Zayn's face theme when he and Kevin Owens interrupt Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. On the live broadcast, his heel theme was played by mistake. They've also removed Zayn's comment about it ("Haven't heard that song in a minute.")

I watched episodes of All American Wrestling and Championship Wrestling from 1986 on YouTube a few days ago. The WWF was not shy about using popular music back then. Copyright laws were obviously much lenient at the time. It's not the laws themselves that were lenient as much as record companies saw any use of their music on television as free publicity. This got heavily cracked down on in the 2000s, culminating with even MTV having to start paying for each song/video played in 2008. So that’s why Music Television no longer has music?

Survivor Series 1998 seems to be the Anthology DVD version. Sounds like all mentions of "WWF" are going to be edited out. This is going to get old fast. 🤦♂️
As soon as the event started JR and the King sounded like they were going to throw to a video package of what happened on Heat immediately before. That's edited out and Vince and his Entourage are suddenly ringside. Not sure if they made their entrance during Heat.
The entrance theme of Mankind's mystery opponent sounds edited.
Sable saying "pissed me off" is bleeped out.
Jarrett saying "piss me off" is bleeped out LOL
Something was edited out after the Bossman vs Rock match. They do a flash edit and go back to JR and King at the desk.
All of Steve Austin and Shane McMahon's middle fingers are pixelated. Austin says something after his match that's bleeped out. Sable said something during her match that was also bleeped out.
This might be one of the most heavily edited shows on the Network.

The Network version of Survivor Series 1998 did air on WWE Classics On Demand, though. Another edit is that the video package at the start of the show was re-done with different generic music replacing the original, causing Freddie Blassie's voiceover to be lost. The guy whose voice you hear now is either Brodus Clay / Tyrus or someone who sounds just like him.

Never knew that was the reason MTV phased out music videos. 🤯 I assume because around the mid-2000's was the time the music industry as a whole went in the toilet. Record labels started to scramble for new ways to make a buck. Like signing artists to 360 deals. Which are coincidentally very similar to WWE contracts.

On the December 23rd 1986 episode of PTW during a promo with the US Express, Danny Spivey says the word "crap" which is edited out. I thought maybe he said shit, but after rewinding it, you can clearly see by reading his lips that he said, crap. Not sure if this is a Peacock edit or if it originally aired like this.

Funny enough, watching an episode of WCW Thunder, Russo just dropped an s-bomb un-bleeped on Peacock.

Funny enough, watching an episode of WCW Thunder, Russo just dropped an s-bomb un-bleeped on Peacock. For some reason, starting from Jan. 12, 2000 when the show moved from Thursday to Wednesday, the vast majority of the Thunder episodes are shown on the Network and Peacock in their "live-to-tape" form rather than how they actually aired on TBS. Mistakes that were cut from the final version are now shown while backstage segments that were inserted into the show after it was taped are not. The missing backstage segments really become obvious in October 2000 when WCW started taping Thunder with Nitro on Mondays. They would tape a shorter show in front of the crowd, then add more interviews and video packages in post-production. All but one of the Feb./Mar. 2001 episodes, though, are the same as the TBS version because at that point, they started having the commentators call the Thunder matches in the studio rather than live in the arena.

On another PTW, they show Heenan and Studd doing the "Kim Chee" masked wrestler from Korea bit, and Gene says something that's reversed. Same question...was it like that before? And what did he say?

There’s been an edit during the rock vs HHH iron man match from judgement day 2000. It’s very weird as I’ve watched that match so many times and I’ve no idea what they have edited. It’s clear it’s an edit as the screen flashes white.

I just went through the match to where I saw the edit but maybe I’ve gotten it wrong. Actually no I’m convinced I saw an edit.

I just checked on the regular WWE Network. The bell rings to start the match at 1:44:24 into the show, and 2:44:24 is when the time expires.

Okay it’s after a replay double box and the main picture comes full screen and it’s a very abrupt camera cut so maybe that’s what I took to be an edit. Well I feel stupid now but it annoyed me because I love that match.

youtu.be/i3folgGyRsk?t=472On the Nov. 20, 2023 Raw, the replay of the finish to Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez got botched on the live airing. On WWE Network, they fixed it, but to do so, they removed a very small portion of Wade Barrett's commentary during the replay (the part in between "hats off to Raquel" and "but it just wasn't enough").

The Benoit jump may be something to do with someone saying good things about him. I finally went back to check what that jump was about and turns out it was just to edit out Jerry Lawler plugging RC Edge for sponsoring that night's show.

I'm watching Royal Rumble 98. After the Rock's pre-match interview they show a crowd shot, suddenly there's a wipe effect before we go to Howard Finkel in the ring. Did someone hold up a sign that needed to be edited out (considering some of the signs I saw on this show, I doubt that), or was it just like that on the original broadcast?
