Natalya v. Paige might have been better. Natalya v. Emma was also very good. Still, I really enjoyed the match. I'm a big fan of both Emma and Paige.
Edit: Actually, those matches were in late 2013, so yes, Emma v. Paige is the best Divas match this year.

Thought it was an okay match, hype really helped but was having stream issues so I need to give it another watch. That finish though, that was painful.
EDIT: Painful as in it look painful and awesome.

Good match. Didn't seem like the crowd was as into it as I thought that they would be though. Random Stephanie was something.

It's like night and day. NXT's effort in promoting their womens matches and the quality of said womens matches are exactly inverse to that of the main roster. Very good match tonight, and Paige busting out a Scorpion Cross to win it looked insane.
And the "BETTER THAN BATISTA" chants for Emma's sitdown powerbomb were hilarious.

It seemed to be a little sloppy for the first half, but they recovered quite nicely and had a great match by the end of it.
Also, BETTER THAN BATISTA. Poor Davey can't catch a break.

Funny that when you give the women performers the same respect as the men, that their matches become much better and more meaningful. Not to mention that the crowd actually cared.
And by giving respect I mean the company, not directed at anyone here.

While they didn't live up to the hype and my expectations of them, they were still light years ahead of the Divas on the main roster. And the finish looked great of course.

It's kind of sad in a way, we've hit this point where if the ladies lay it down, it feels special when it shouldn't.
Obviously a great match is still a great match, but they've created this dumb thing to where if you see female wrestlers......having a good match that it's oh ah time. It makes me mad. They should just hire less Barbies. Plenty of gals can go. They just don't get on TV because yhey're 6.5s.

I mean who knew that simply treating talent with respect and promoting them like they matter would actually produce something amazing. Too bad WWE has no idea how to do that with the main roster women.

I'm alone in this as far as I've seen, but the way Paige hooked that finish didn't look great to me. Still an awesome match though. It picked up the weird middles between this and Cesaro/Zayne.

I've always found women's matches a little sloppy in WWE. It's like The ring just isn't sized for them, and it makes them a half step off it seems like. I don't know how female wrestlers look in other promotions

Good match, though not as good as their Women's Title tournament final. Still a solid effort from both though, and that submission finish looked brutal.

I'm just glad the people seeing NXT for the first time got to see that WWE can actually show women's wrestling the same respect it shows men's. The match was just as hyped up as the other two big matches, and given a proper showcase.
If only they could do the same with the Divas division on Raw and Smackdown, we'd be heading in a great direction.

Nice touch with Emma coming in and taking this rematch seriously. Save for her entrance, no goofy dancing for the crowd. She was all business. Paige is alright. I'm chalking up her performance to just getting back from being injured.

Bring Paige to the main roster dammit!!! So she can get a 3-minute match once a month maybe? They really need to make a Divas-only WRESTLING show on the Network.

They kinda did that for the AJ/Kaitlyn feud last year and surprise, surprise that feud actually received alot of praise from people instead of being treated as a bathroom break like most other Diva matches/feuds.

Funny that when you give the women performers the same respect as the men, that their matches become much better and more meaningful. Not to mention that the crowd actually cared. And by giving respect I mean the company, not directed at anyone here. I've never understood mcmahons/wwe's mindset on women's wrestling because they are leaving money on the table by ignoring it the way they do. You would think they would have learned this back in the trish, lita, holly, etc days. They put on great matches. People cared about them. People wanted to see them. People were emotionally invested in their programs. They were everything any men's matches were. But then something happened..they went to not caring at all about them. I've never understood it. And if they don't think women can't draw or get attention they are nuts. hell, look at ronda rousey in the ufc...iirc dana white said there would never be female fighters in the ufc and now she is one of, if not THE top draw. I enjoy the women's fights far more than I do the mens because it's different. Normally people don't think of women being so physical and being able to fight but because they can, it's awesome and entertaining as hell. If wwe brought in great female wrestlers with interesting characters and women who are not only able to kick each others ass but the men's as well, people would care..a lot. People would enjoy it..and they would make money in the process. Instead they look at them as nothing but an afterthought and bring in women who couldn't beat a 5 year old in a real fight. If you aren't going to send the women out there to show t&a because you are pg, why not actually hire women who bust their ass to be good in the ring and have people care about them instead of just throwing these talentless women out there who couldn't draw flies? And to be fair, it's not all their fault, the wwe never trained them to be any good and even if they were, the way they book them you never see it. For all the claims over the years that mcmahon is a genious and all that....this is one of the dumbest things he has ever done and continues to do.
