Seriously, I have no idea. I'd guess Hogan in WCW since he's Hogan.

Back in the day? Hogan in WCW, most likely.
Now? Probably Triple H.

It's funny how time may have caught up to this. Was Hogan at the height of NWO ever guaranteed more than half a mil? He took home more, but was it contractually guaranteed? Trips might take this one, based on how contracts are written now.

What was Lesnar making before he left? Maybe it was bogus, but I remember reading at the time that he was making some ridiculous amount...

The Big Show has/had a crazy contract. I believe he was making about one-million a year from when he first enterd the WWF/E until recently.

Big Show prb did get a big contract since he was one of the bigger jumps during the Monday Night War. I bet WCW and WWF both chucked a ton of money at him. I bet HHH has the highest deal as he's the biggest remaining star from the Monday Night War.

Hogan was making 5 million a year guarunteed plus $750,000 for wrestling at any Pay-Per-View plus 10% of buyrate plus 50% of merchandise sales (according to his book).

I know Bret's WCW contract was something like $3 Million per year for 3 years.
HHH, while "technically" under contract, probably collects from the top as well. I'm sure guys like Taker, Cena, HBK and Edge have nice big contracts as well.
I'm wondering how some of the older guys paydays, like Gotch and them, match up to today when you account for inflation. I got a feeling that those guys saw some massive paydays.

Well, considering the days of Gotch would've seen a wrestler earning a purse for a victory much like a boxer, there were probably very big pay days involved.

I remember reading that HHH's is 10 million a year with some other ridiculous additional payouts. I don't think it's that ridicilous... but I'm sure he's getting at least a mill or two guarenteed a year. HBK just got a 5 mill over 5 year contract or something.

I read where I had gotten it originally, and from Feb 2004 - Feb 2006, he was getting $2,013,000, and Allowed the personal use of company jet (10) times per year. First class flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation paid for every week.

It is without a doubt Bret Hart's WCW deal. Vince McMahon refused to pay anybody then and now the money WCW offered him which was 9 million over 3 years guaranteed. It is the main reason the invasion angle failed because when it came to signing guys like Goldberg, Sting and guys like that, Vince smartly refused to pony up the money they were asking.

I was thinking of Goldberg and McMahon not paying up his deal. Must have been bucketloads.
