Whoa. Isn't/wasn't Mark Henry's contract one million a year for ten years? Henry's was 10 year/$7 Mil ($700,000 a year). Sucks to be him. Yeah, it really sucks I think, if I remember what I read correctly, Undertaker is the highest paid in the WWE right now, being around 2.5 Million and getting 1st class plane tickets, hotel accomodations, travel, etc. all included... He has definitely deserved all of it though...

I read somewhere that Hogan today makes $1 million for wrestling a PPV (Summerslam as it is now) and $200,000 for a TV show appearance plus he has some really smart deal set up with his merchendise which allows him to keep something like 30% of the profits. No wonder the guy is so rich.

I am googling around in a non-scientfic way and can't find anything about Hogan getting $5 mil, but a few references to Steve Austin getting $4 mil guaranteed and usually doubled with other bonuses.
Also Angle's TNA salary is supposed to be $650K base.

As for Lesnar, I can recall that for his old contract, he earned $1M per year for ten years before his decision to quit the WWE for an NFL career that went nowhere.
After he was dropped from the NFL, Lesnar wanted to return to the WWE with the old $1M-per year contract, plus a light schedule (think Undertaker, Flair, and HBK) and full creative control over his matches. Of course, the WWE said "HELL NO!", and sued the company to end his no-complete clause. We all know what happened.
Because of that, he was essentially blackballed from competing in pro wrestling the US and Japan.

Back in the day? Hogan in WCW, most likely. Now? Probably Triple H. actually, from what I've heard and read, JBL has the best contract in WWE. Undertaker, Cena and HHH are around the same.

The guarenteed contracts they're giving to their top talent right now are almost as absurd contracts that the ones WCW was handing out back in the day. Shawn Michael's is getting near 2 million a year now... with a 5 year contract..

i read somewhere, that Bret Hart contract with WCW was the biggest contract for a wrestler per year. Not sure if it still is, but Hart's WCW contract was almost unheard of at the time. i actually do think his contract was bigger than Hogan's.
somebody feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though

I'm certain that Hogans guarantee had to be more than Harts.
Even if it wasn't, his payouts for PPVS, merchandise etc would've made him more money anyway.
I also know that at the height of the attitude era Rock and Austin would've been guaranteed around 2 million, than make 8-10 million from payouts.

According to Have A Nice Day, Marc Mero was making a nice chunk of change when he came over at Wrestlemania 12. In fact Foley was furious that Mero was making more than him without putting nearly as much effort into his work.

Per Year wise Hogan signed a 4 year deal worth 5 million a year after his initial wcw contract ended.
Overall, the highest contract that was completly paid on would have to be Takers current deal I believe

Hart never saw hardly any of the money from his 20 year deal or his WCW deal( he got it cut in half once injured then was fired) So I dont think it should count.
Taker has been getting well over 1.5 million a year for at least 6 or 7 years now.... thats gotta be the longest/highest current deal, although I dont know about much Japan stuff anymore

Hogan's had to be the biggest. The base pay, bonus pay, merchandise pay, plus he had creative control for himself so he can reap the bonus pay and incentives as much as he could possibly get away with.
