No. Seriously.
Why did Mark Henry get punked out by Brock Lesnar for a third time? What did that accomplish? At this point, we've established through two horrifically squash-tastic segments that Brock Lesnar is a super monster who beats up the founder of the "Hall of Pain" with ease because "Brock Lesnar is a Beast!" (TM)
I don't get it. It served no point. Brock Lesnar could've beaten up literally ANYBODY. But, now I have to believe that Mark Henry is some sort of bulk-ish Shawn Stasiak running into F5's with stupid, reckless abandon.
But...the thing that caused this thread to exist...BIG SHOW WAS AT RAW. The Big Show was there. Dressed to compete. Showing up after the show went off to help save Bryan.
Why...would you kill Mark Henry's momentum/character for a third straight time when you still have that daggone dude who was WEARING A CUPID DIAPER to show up, look mean, shake his fist, and then get F5'd. I mean...daggone it. WWE just waits a month and then says "By the way, Show is focused again, so now he's SUPER dangerous." It takes time and build to grow what Mark Henry had become.
I mean...daggone it.
Alright. Rant-ish rant over.

Yeah I didn't understand the logic of doing the exact same thing again... but that seems to be the format of the show at the moment.

It seems like during the entire month of February Vince was pacing around back and forth waiting for Black History Month to end so he could finally relieve himself in the form of a Mark Henry squash.

I guess we just need to see the visual of Brock Lesnar is such a mighty beast that he can destroy another mighty beast. Problem is there is only like two monster credible babyfaces between Henry and Big Show and Henry and Show is the more protected one. Henry's arm heals quickly.
I just want to see Brock Lesnar destroy a babyface highflyer who is a great seller. Like Kofi or Dolph Ziggler. Plus I think they would gain more credibility for being brave to challenge Brock Lesnar in a fight even if they got destroyed.

The hilariously painful misadventures of Mark Henry will now become a weekly thing.
Henry will be shopping at the store or something, then Lesnar will break out of the frozen pizza section, and F-5 Henry onto one of the sampling tables.

It don't take much for Mark Henry to become the World's Strongest Jobber to the Stars now does it?

Brock should have taken out Riley and destroyed the pre/post-show set.

It lets Mark save a little face because he's in angle when he gets left off the Wrestlemania card.

Brock should have taken out Riley and destroyed the pre/post-show set. See even as a Riley fan I wouldn't have minded that. Why does it ALWAYS have to be Mark Henry or Big Show. I'd love to see Brock destroy a lesser guy for five minutes or so, maybe get busted open the hardway, and "earn the respect of the WWE Universe" for "being a man" and "taking his lumps".

If I didn't know better, I would say Vince Russo is back writing for the WWE. The storylines don't even make sense anymore... It's just a bunch of helter skelter skits and pearl harbor jobs. Paul and Steph need to take a corporate enima.

If that were to happen, we might have a repeat here of the night Miz didn't run screaming in terror from Lesnar.

Well The Miz gets the weirdest blames and criticisms on this board then any other wrestler in history. Failing to catch R Truth on purpose, blamed for low survivor series 2011 buyrate, standing up to defend himself from incoming Brock Lesnar, etc.

Miz got his ass kicked for real on a reality TV show. He's soft fratboy that has zero physical credibility.

Said reality show was 13 years ago when Miz was a skinny college-age kid, before he started his training. And in the spin off of that reality show, he took part in a lot of physical challenges that showcased his toughness I'd say Miz looking like a soft fratboy should make him a rootable underdog. At least ideally it should.

Miz got some shots in, only because Lesnar didn't care. He threw him out of the ring without even trying, and when Miz got back in that's when Lesnar got serious and destroyed him. A small guy standing up to Lesnar, should add to their credibility. It should also add to Brock's, as long as he brushes it off and destroys them.

A huge part of me wishes that Lesnar didn't lose to Cena or Burials before his match with Taker. I feel Lesnar being undefeated, destroying the competition, and looking to defeat the streak would've been an amazing storyline.

They figured it would be mean something and look impressive if Brock beat-up Henry. I think he probably was the best choice since he just did this to Big Show.

I don't think it was a good choice because he also just did this to Henry...twice. And we already KNOW that Lesnar is a beast who can manhandle other big guys, so it wasn't necessary at all. I would've much rather seen a smaller/lesser guy stand up to Lesnar. At least that would be different and somewhat productive.
