I'm talking about past and present guys who had success and were great hands but became nearly useless.
Edge - From 2010 till retirement he was stale and didn't fit in on any brand.
Victoria - Had so much use early on then became a comedy character who was aligned with Kenny Dykstra and was used as a jobber to put over Michelle McCool and The Bella's.
Mickie James - Had a great run early on then lost most of her character and seemed generic by late 2008. Her outfits became unflattering and she struggled not to botch most of the time.
Rey Mysterio - Currently Rey Mysterio is in bad shape. His act has been stale since 2006 and he's just not relevant anymore.

CM Punk.
... too soon? But no, seriously. Big Punk fan, but he'd done nothing for me since dropping the title at the Rumble last year.

Without counting booking wise and just wrestler perfomance.
I would go Mysterio no doubt.Dude tried but..he just can't go anymore,it is not his fault. He is just too broken and fragile.

Mysterio is going to go down as one of those embarrassing cases of a guy who just doesn't know how to quit wrestling and who wears his body down so far past usability he's wheelchairbound before 50. Except unlike most of the other sad sacks, he's doing this in WWE instead of the indies for a case of beer and thirty bucks.

As far as ability goes. Scott Steiner. He was awesome back in the day but by the time he became Big Poppa Pump he was almost immobile. Granted he got super over after the change.

Batista? Granted he's old, but when he first won the title, he came off as young (actually 36) and pretty humble, and decent in the ring. A few years later, he became a sloppy, worn-out, douche. A few more years and tattoos later, and he's back in 2014 in the main event of Wrestlemania XXX.

It hurts me to say it but Hogan. His body, his family, finances , and reputation are all a wreck. And worst of all he seems to blame it all on everybody but himself. It’s really sad.

You could say this for a large chunk of the current roster. And for a lot of them, it isn't even their faults.

Flair's been there for years. Sad that one of the biggest legends inside of the ring has turned into a complete embarrassment outside of it.

Roddy Piper - Brought the goods on the mic. Now when he appears he could probably make it in the Guiness Book of Records for the most face palms in one arena.

Flair, he's a pathetic joke thesedays.
Mickie and Nattie fit the bill as well and it wasn't just lack of a push, Mickies last couple of years in the WWE was just full of botches, same with Nattie now, put her in the ring and she's bound to stuff something up lately.
Edge after his first Main Event face turn. The guys gold as Rated R heel, his face turns were horrendous though and even turning him back heel for a while didn't do anything.

Braden Walker hit this huge peak on August 1st of 2008 when he beat Armando Estrada, but by August 8th, he was just an absolute sham of what he was a week prior. I don't know if it was James Curtis, but Walker was just completely past his prime.

I'd say he pulled out of it quite nicely. He has his life together now( I think when Linda left him he was on the brink of suicide), He's doing much better financially and has a new woman in his life...sure his body isn't in great shape but how many 60 year old wrestlers are in truly great shape. He's still pretty muscular.

In all honesty, I had to stop watching that almost immediately after I started watching. Poor Andre.
