I'd figure the Raw thread's about to explode, so I thought I'd preemptively start a side thread for it. We're getting a triple threat match!

Awesome.
The Authority angle has still sucked and it's going to absolutely insufferable seeing people smirk and pat themselves on the back about WWE's "long term plan".

Naturally we're probably not going to get a "Daniel Bryan's a douche" thread like Cena and Sheamus always got when they did small things despite the fact that he essentially threatened to ruin the whole show's final hour for everyone watching at home

I still think the right finish is for Batista to win and Bryan to chase through the summer, but now they've set themselves up where if Bryan doesn't win, the fans will be done with the whole thing.

He tends to be like the most passive, easy-going wrestler ever.

I'm surprised, more than I would've been if they just announced the Triple Threat outright and found a different opponent for Hunter, because I didn't think HHH would settle for being second fiddle in a match building up a more important match later in the card.
Makes me expect Bryan will win the first match via rollup and then get the crap beaten out of him by Triple H right afterwards, so he looks like even more of an underdog going into the title match.

Maybe since the Rumble itself, but before then, they'd have to have known Punk would leave and Batista would go from being cheered his first night back to being the most hated man in the country.

Pretty cool. I would've bet anything that Bryan wasn't going into the mainevent. Glad I was wrong.

Seriously. I don't doubt that they've had this planned since the Rumble debacle but if you think this was the plan all along, you are freaking dreaming. They took the most ass backwards, convoluted route to reach the logical conclusion.

He's going to beat 3/4 of Evolution in the same night on the grandest stage of them all and end the night doing the 'YES' with a world title in each hand. This will make up for the 8 months of misery with the best possible ending. I'm finally buzzing for Wrestlemania.
And for everyone saying it wasn't the plan all along I'm almost certain that it wasn't. But isn't it awesome that for once the fans voice actually has made a difference?

I'm excited, but incredibly hesitant, because Triple H pinning Bryan or Batista bombing Bryan to win the WWE Heavyweight Title are two possibilities that I suspect WWE are seriously considering. I think I would be way more pumped for Wrestlemania right if Bryan won the Rumble right from the start.

Because getting screwed out of the title then beaten by Triple couldn't possibly lead to beating Triple and potentially winning the title.
Nope, not part of the plan at all.
