If I was a cynical conspiracy theorist I could believe they went out of their way to find the most mis-shapen, weird looking wretches available to put on Daniel Bryan shirts and stand in the ring. I wasn't expecting super models and I'm not Vogue material myself but damn..that was a ring full of gnarly looking dweebs right there.

Honestly, I don't think it would be any better or worse if you picked a random sampling of fans at say, an NFL game. That's what real people look like.
It looked more realistic than if they filled it entirely with over-attractive models.

To be fair, I'd rather have real fans then random actors they made up to be Daniel Bryan fans. And like, they looked like normal people. Is it so messed up that we see normal looking people on TV and people are like, umm, eww.

Is it so messed up that we see normal looking people on TV and people are like, umm, eww. I think a more diverse mix would be appreciated. While I agree that people who aren't conventionally attractive shouldn't be shunned, I think it sends to wrong message to erase "beautiful" people. There are a lot of attractive and fit looking "normal people" in the world. "Regular people" who can run a marathon, train in MMA or bench 300 lbs do exist. The lines between "nerds" and "jocks" are quite blurred nowadays. |

I liked that they were average folk. It reminded me of when the crowd rushed the ring after Dusty won the title from Race.

Well LL Cool J and Chris Odonnell were there so there are two handsome men that could of been there. I'm actually kind of surprised they didn't put them in there to show even the hollywood stars are on Bryan's side.
