Whenver it shows the rating of the show I'm about to watch, I always try to watch for what the reason was the show got said rating. For example, the Decemter '95 In Your House, I'm quite sure it got the TV 14 D (suggestive disalogue) rating for Goldust's lustful promo on Razor Ramon (which was fantastic by the way, I had never seen it before).
What shows have you seen that had a rating that caught your eye, and had a discernible reason for receiving that rating?

Judgment Day 2004 has an MA rating because of Eddie Guerrero's papercut.

The TV 14 for December 95 may also be for Bret's bleeding.

Starrcade 85 has an MA rating. Turns out it definitely earned it, very bloody show.

Slightly off topic, but that reminds me of how when I was a kid watching early 90's WWF where you rarely if ever saw blood, and then picking up an Apter mag that had pictures of matches from the 70's and 80's and I couldn't believe how the pictures always looked like bloodbaths, I figured they airbrushed in the blood for effect or something since I'd never seen anything like that on the wrestling I watched.

The other part of this discussion should be, which non-Benoit shows get the disclaimer too? I've noticed Fall Brawl '93 so far.

Not counting when they air it during the livestream, the only time I've seen it is before Great American Bash 1990.

Another Goldust rating: TV 14 L (language) for In Your House April '96, due to the "faggot" chants directed at the Bizzare One. Jerry Lawler using the word "hooker" was surprising too, seemed like a word that you wouldn't hear on WWF TV at that time. We wouldn't hear that word these days.
