Ie: original plans seem to suggest that it would be a one on one match, Batista vs Orton, for the title in the main event, with returning movie star babyface Batista getting the win.
Now though Bryan (and/or maybe HHH have been added and it seems very likely that Bryan is winning the belt. Batista and Orton are kind of overshadowed by the others in the feud. Do you think this bothers them?
Or do you think they're happy now that there is actual interest in their match, whereas before their bout risked getting booed out of the building.

I don't think Orton is unhappy. I think he knew coming in that he was going to be a transitional champ. That's his job. Now, Batista, I think he's pretty butthurt. The returned and the fans pretty much took a shit on him.

They're mostly likely content, because they made it big before they probably feel they're the ones that made Daniel Bryan a big star. Like when Kevin Nash told Punk that because of him and Hall, guys like him Punk were on the payroll that he should be thanking him.

They are involved in the hottest angle in years, with THE guy in the company right now, in front thousands of fans, in the main event of Wrestlemania, and making a fortune in the process
I'm sure they are miserable.

Both guys had been booked better lately, I think that if Bryan wins the title, they will blame each other and had feud, which imo could be fun since I think that as opposing forces but gys work great (the matches maybe will not be that good but who knows)

I think Orton is happy. He was pretty much an after-thought for the entire angle anyway, I imagine now he's happy that there's genuine interest in his match and that it will get the appropriate responses. Dave was angry for sure, you just had to look at his twitter shortly after the Rumble to see his pre-teen girl way of dealing with his criticisers. He's probably stopped caring by now, I reckon there's still that little sting to his ego that people wanted Bryan more then they wanted him but he's been in wrestling long enough to understand the situation.

They're probably relieved that their match now won't be universally shit on.

I don't think Orton's happy unless he's not wearing pants.

Like others have said, with the money they're probably making, I'm sure they'll manage.
I do think it's safe to say that Batista probably isn't thrilled with the way his return has gone. The guy seems like he'd have one hell of an ego and it's definitely been battered to a pulp since his comeback.

Randy might be a little miffed, but he'll be back around. He doesn't seem to stray to far from the main event anymore.
Dave... I hope Dave's unhappy. I hate Dave.

I would say there's some professional pride that goes into something like this. Mabye Orton feels better becuase he's still in the main as the champ but doesn't have to try and carry a very very old looking Batista to something passable by himself. I wouldn't be surprised if even Batista realizes he's kind of embarrassing himself so far, and his big awesome babyface title win has been shelved. Sure, they're both making their money, but since they're adding another guy to the match, that might effect their paydays as well. I would venture that neither of them are thrilled about things, with Batista probably being less happy. It's an interesting question to ask, one I'd love to know the real answer to one day.

I think Batista is more upset at how the fans received him than not winning the belt at Mania. To be fair to Dave, I don't believe fans would have gotten behind anyone not named Stone Cold Steve Austin or the Rock (who probably would have had mixed reaction) at Royal Rumble once Mysterio came out at #30. I like Roman Reigns but they only cheered for him because it was obvious Batista was going to win. I say that based on the brief scuffle Batista had with Ryback and there was a "feed me more" chant beginning to come up.

Of course Orton is unhappy. Haven't you heard about his family issues?

The fact that it's gone 8 months is solely based on the WWE's inability to strike when the iron is hot, so to speak. Orton has known that this belt is as good as Bryans. The second he got it.

if I were Orton I wouldn't be happy. dude's been booked like a total chump since Summerslam. sure, he might be holding the belt but he's the textbook definition of a paper champ, and he has been for the last 7+ months now. on top of that, the Authority angle was basically saying "this guy is a worthless goober and only an egomaniacal moron would want him as the champion". he also had a lot of his accomplishments pissed on.
Batista might be harder to gauge. dude can't handle criticism at all, which was part of the problem, and he came back only to see his hero's welcome get shit on and his main event hijacked by someone else. it's not entirely his fault, WWE should've known better, but he deserves a bit of the blame himself because of how he handled it.
