Yet Pluto is still not classified as a planet?
The "classified moons" of Jupiter range in size far more than the ratio in size that Pluto is compared to other "true" planets such as Mercury. Ceres should be a planet too, and the whole size thing is a bullshit argument when they refuse to do the same for moons. Jupiter has many "moons" that are just a few miles across, most of which are just garbage from the asteroid belt that was picked up.
Hypocrisy in astronomy pisses me off.

Pluto doesn't have enough oil and Jupiter holds the majority of the Senate Seats in the Sol System. Unless Saturn, Neptune and Uranus void their signing of the Kuiper Treaty, nothing is going to change.

Because Pluto has not cleared it's orbit of other objects it cannot be classified as a planet under current standards. Same for Ceres.
There is no lower limit as to what is makes a "moon" though.

Jupiter is a major backstage politician, and always makes sure that his buddies get good pushes while burying everybody else.

Jupiter is a big draw brother. As long as it continues to make us money, it can have as many moons as it wants.

It's completely unfair to not spread the moons out. I say that every planet gets 21 moons each.

Let it go. Pluto isn't a planet, end of discussion. You want Pluto to be in the League of Planets?! Are you mad?! Pluto never pulled its weight and finally it got what it deserved.

It's simple.
Jupiter is one of the most popular of the Sailor Senshi, and you don't often see Pluto utilized in fanfiction and artwork
Oh, wait, we're talking about why the Jovian gas giant has over 69 moons. Frankly, I look at Pluto not having downgraded in as much as them getting an improved status. For now we have eight Plutoids.

Word is that when they solar system is really in peril, they can combine to form one giant Plutoid.

Because its a big ass ball of gas with a massive gravitational pull. You try being a giant space ball and attempt to pass Jupiter without orbiting it. It really isn't hard to become a Jupiter moon.

Agreed. Some of the moons in the solar system are specks of irregular shaped rocks, but still are considered to be the same status as enormous bodies like Ganymede, which is bigger than Mercury, or Titan, which has it's own thick atmosphere.
There was no reason for the IAU to use that as a criteria to deny planet status rather than use it as a criteria for identifying a third type of planet (along with terrestrial planets and gas/ice giants) in the solar system with similar characteristics. The whole thing was rather arbitrary. All five dwarf planets should be classed as official planets IMO, with certainly more out there that fall into that same catagory.
