In fact he probably already did. That's why Sweet Tea used to do the "shovel" dance. It was his way of reaching out to the fans and subtly saying I am where I am right now because of The almighty Cerebral King Of The game, and I thank him for it.

He gave him an opportunity! That's what he does! Tensai failed! Then he gave Tensai a new opportunity as Jason Albert! He didn't bury Tensai! He doesn't bury guys! He gives them opportunities!

Tensai is a B wrestler at best. HHH could have took him under his wing and taught him how to sports entertain like an +A player but Tensai didn't think he was worthy and became a commentator instead.
