Do you think Sabu was better used in TNA or WWE?
I say TNA. I mean its obvious he was being used better there and it was alot more entertaining...

He's being used well in WWE too..except when booked against Cena. Other then that, he's booked pretty well.

Wierd as it is to say, Sabu is pushed a lot harder in WWECW than in TNA. I prefered his TNA matches as the Abyss series of matches were quite simply, awesome in their brutality. But from a personal standpoint, nothing compares to seeing Sabu get his shot and being on WWE PPV where I think its safe to say, no one thought he would ever be.

def TNA see my post on the comeback of the year thread. His Barb wire match with Abyss and involvment in Monster's Ball 2 were two of my all time Favorite TNA matches. Now he's pregnant dogging to the likes of Cena and Big Show every week. But like I said in the other thread good to see him get his mainstream exposure and big paychecks. He truly deserves it.

Sabu was pushed as more of an attraction in TNA, whereas in WWE he's being used as one of their top regular stars.
On the other hand, Sabu was the NWA Champion in the early days of TNA.
So it depends on what era of TNA you're comparing his WWE run to.

He was champ before TNA was signed over the rights to the belt and while he fought for it on a couple of occasions in the early TNA days, he'd lost it to I believe Steve Corino a year beforehand.

I was sure that he defended the belt on TNA shows against the likes of Malice and Styles, but my knowledge of the early days of TNA is blurry at best.

He did fight Malice, but only for the right to be Number 1 contender and to my knowledge he never faced Styles, which is a shame. Still, I love being right ;D

I remember him feuding with Malice to get a shot at the strap on the early shows. I don't remember him carrying it once TNA had exclusivity of the title. I'm just happy that Sabu is over wherever he goes and was impressed WWE didn't bury him by ignoring his stature outside of their corrupt little Stamford walls. He earned his respect. His WWE paydays are paltry, compared to Smackdown and RAW stars, but higher than most ECW guys (poor Danny Doring and Tony Mamaluke get about $500 a week with no travel expenses paid).

I think his TNA booking was a lot better than his WWE. It just fit more to Sabu and played to his strengths. I'm probably the biggest Sabu mark ever, and I'll say that he shouldn't be in the main event fighting for championships, he should be mid-card, fighting brutal matches. Sabu vs. Abyss is one of my favorite fueds now, so I'll definitely say Sabu.

Good points .WWE forced Sabu to talk, breaking a 20 year, cool little gimmick he had. F the WWE. TNA respected Sabu better in the long run.

They just went out there and beat the piss out of each other and had some damn good hardcore matches. Barbed Wire Mayhem is still pretty sick.
