Oddly enough, the albums are on iTunes, but there are no actual songs listed. Weird.

Does anyone have a link to that thread on (w)rest a couple of years back that had all of the WCW themes and the real knockoffs that they were based on? I.e. Jericho's heel theme is Even Flow by Pearl Jam.

The Music of WCW is absolutely there, and I just noticed that the release date is April 1. Hmmm. If the set includes the entire Slam Jam album, I am all over this. Man, I wore that tape out when I was a kid!

So does that mean they have the rights to Harts music now?
Does that mean they will sort out the WCW music on the network?

Did they at least wish them the best in their future endeavors? Yeah, I thought cuts were for post-Mania.

So does that mean they have the rights to Harts music now? Does that mean they will sort out the WCW music on the network? The only time they had any issues with Hart's music was in the earlier days of DVD like when they released the Mania DVD Anthology. In this instance, they didn't even reach out to Hart. Once they did reach out to Hart, he was very accommodating and flattered that allow them to use his themes. It could be possible that they purchased his entire library of music written for wrestling.

So does that mean they have the rights to Harts music now? Does that mean they will sort out the WCW music on the network? They've always used Hart's music, and most of it is already on the Network. The only WCW music not on the Network right now are some of the themes that were ripoffs of popular songs. Many of them were done by Hart (DDP, Jeff Jarrett, Raven, Misfits in Action) but at least one was from a music library (Chris Jericho's heel theme that sounds like "Evenflow" by Pearl Jam). WCW never used WWE music written by Hart (most glaring example being Honky Tonk Man getting a new theme for his WCW run that was written by Hart rather than using his WWE theme that Jimmy also wrote), so I would think WWE owns the themes he did for them in the late-'80s and early '90s. One problem with that story: Music that Jimmy composed was on the WrestleMania set (DiBiase, Crush, Earthquake, Honky Tonk Man, Rougeaus, Hart Foundation, Shawn Michaels, etc.).

Perhaps it wasn't an issue then. I didn't get the Mania Anthology, so I was going off what I've read about music edits on there.

Yeah, it is there and listed at $44.99 but errors out when you click on it. WWE is just preparing its fans for the experience of watching WrestleMania on the WWE Network.

Please have The Fabulous Rougeaus theme on there. I'd mark out the wazoo. Anyway, my body is ready for this. I'd totally just listen to "3 Count" on loop.
