Not really. On the one hand, the crowd loved it and you could tell it all came from the heart. On the other hand, he was literally repeating himself for most of it out there. So while I wouldn't have minded it going on longer, it was a little unfair to the rest of the class. Especially after some people killing time with their stories about getting Arn Anderson to set them up with a hookup with Rey Mysterio. {Spoiler}F***in' Jake Roberts and his illicit sex stories.

It sucks that it happened, but I found it hilarious that they had Kane do it.

I don't think he mentioned wrestling once.

It's a shame Bob Backlund's speech didn't air live. He no-sold the hook a few times I heard.

I don't think he mentioned wrestling once. He said it at least 2 times.. "Happy to be inducted into the 'rasslin hall of fame", and "my brothers played football, and 'rassled"

I understand why they did it, but him slowly walking away repeating "Sorry" was kinda heartbreaking.

I hope WWE brings him back soon so he can leave a better lasting memory. The crowd clearly loves him. Give him a moment on Raw or the next PPV. Then give him his own show on the WWE Network - or stick him inside Legends House or something. There's still life to Mr T's career, I say.

I do. Yea he was going long but the way Kane came out and had him finish instantly was pretty rude. I would've preferred if they gave him a minute to wrap up.

Mr T made a complete fool of himself. He rambled on forever, constantly repeated himself, never mentioned anything wrestling-related, and took his whole induction far too seriously. He's in the celebrity wing if the WWE Hall of Fame. He wrestled in two matches 30 years ago. Yes, Lita and Warrior also rambled on but they were actual, you know, wrestlers and they told wrestling stories. I still can't figure out what Mr T's goal or motivation was with his speech. I don't think anyone ever will.
That being said it was pretty rude for him to be interrupted like that. The additional pot shots thrown at him weren't necessary either. I probably don't want to see him on WWE television for a while though.

Kinda wish there was a way he could've done his entire speech and, at least, put it on the website.

No, because he was just repeating himself.
I get that he was expressing love for his mom, but he did that, repeatedly, and the night wasn't just about him.
Now watch him run in&kick Kane's ads tonight.

They should have done it another way. I tried to think of how else they could have done it. Perhaps play the A Team music and send Lawler back out there to let him know his time is up. Playing Kane's theme in the middle of Mr T's induction was really odd.

I probably don't want to see him on WWE television for a while though. Aw come on man he was just so excited to be inducted and to be recognised even if it was for something from thirty years ago. At least he was actually excited and enthusiastic about being on a fake rasslin show, unlike most celebs
