I have a scenario for you FAN, what would you advise dis guy

This guy she is close friends with is in love with her but she doesn't feel the same about him.

He posted on her Facebook wall that he loves her and she posted it back, she loves him but as a close friend.

I said that I didn't like that fact that he posted it on her wall knowing how he feels about her and I took what she said back the wrong way.

Now she is upset with me because I pointed out I didn't like him and her writing that.

She knows how I feel about her and she is now distant with me. Is this my fault? Or is she being a bit of a drama queen? How can I fix this guys?

Try not to ask additional questions, clarification will only ruin things. How would you help this person, assuming both are at least 21 years if age.

I am baffled by the third person in the mix, but it sounds to me like the the guy who's in love with the girl, and the girl he's in love with, are both kind of assholes. 21 years of age and posting about love on Facebook? You're 21, not 13. Grow some balls and tell her to her face. And the girl should've deleted the post and talked to him about it offline. The third person, I don't even know what they did.

Over 21 or not, if you need to make your initial declarations of love on a public website then you're likely not mature enough to be able to deal with the pressure of honest opinions of any kind from the person you believe you've fallen for.

Otherwise, yes, being put in an awkward situation by someone declaring they love you is a right shitty place to be, and one that f***s up a lot of stuff within friendship circles, so I sympathize with the person who said 'I love you as a close friend'. It makes it clear to the initial 'I love you' person and EVERYONE ELSE that there's no relationship interest and that they won't accept any such matters.

If the person who initially said 'I love you' can't deal with being told a friendly no which is understood around the world as 'we're friends, nothing more' then that's their problem.

I'd suggest staying out of other's private business in general too, regardless of if you know them like family, there's no need for the extra spoons in the annoying broth.

i think he's the girl's boyfriend, and he's upset she used the word "love" when describing her feelings for another guy (because he doesn't know the difference between romantic and platonic)
