I really liked that. I think it's fantastic news we're exploring areas of Cena's psyche other than "lols, come get some". A fear I had was that the feud would just see him 'Cena off' any mind-games/impact the Wyatt's were having on him. The fact that he's showing he's being affected I think helps both the angle, the opponent and Cena himself. I also was a big fan of this storyline and how both men played it up. I personally wouldn't mind seeing this feud carrying on a bit longer, maybe the Wyatts taking an ignored and desperate Zach Ryder under their wings, possibly culminating in a Hell in the Cell situation or something in the vein. However that ref so loudly declaring "Don't do it Cena! This isn't who you are!" was so WTF "who the hell is this guy?" funny to me. This guy needs a Clarence the Guardian Angel gimmick.

This should be the beginning of Making A Difference Ref. He doesn't just call the matches, he's changing lives. I endorse this.

I choose to believe that after this match ended, Make a Difference Ref left the arena and once he out of the door, he jumps into a freeze frame while "Don't You Forget About Me" is playing.

Because the way Bray was sitting, any chair shot would have taken his head off, as opposed to hitting them in the back?

Ref: HEY! GET HIM OUT OF THE CORNER! I TOLD YOU TO GET HIM OUT OF THE CORNER! YOU DON'T LISTEN TO ME, I DISQUALIFY YOUR ASS!" Fan 1: Wow... that ref is a badass! Fan 2: Yeah? Well that "badass" donated his entire Wrestlemania paycheck to sick kids.

This should be the beginning of Making A Difference Ref. He doesn't just call the matches, he's changing lives. Make A Difference Ref would be going around, just trying to make a difference for the kids, when two sinister-looking referees would start showing up, menacingly watching the matches Make A Difference Ref was officiating.

So he's Jimminy Ref-it? Seriously, I get that it's something new, and yes it's unique. Not necessarily how I would've gone with it, though I'm all for playing up the conflicted part of "never give up". The submission hold held until Bray passes out, then you can have another babyface go all white knight with "you didn't break a rule, you did it the right way" but have Bray screaming about the joy of the moment and the warm feeling of being in Sister Abigail's embrace once more when he passed out or some crazy shit that would totally fit his character.
Bray looked like a million bucks, and the ref can still be the Jimminy Cricket character, I just was hoping for a different route I suppose.

This match was already so corny because of Cena's overacting--bless the guy for what he has given wrestling, but he could not emote hesitation/anger/sadness realistically to save his life--and this just made it even worse. I understand what that happened, but man, it was so goofy and hard to watch.

You do know it's just a rehash of "Embrace the hate" minus the Ryder/ Eve Torres shit and with some shoehorned in stuff about Cena's legacy they only added in so that the Eminem song they licensed would be kinda relevant right?

Make A Difference Ref will team with Rikishi and the Usos and Make a Change! They better be wearing the Magnum PI inspired Hawaiian shirts ala Makin' a Difference Fatu from back in the day, or I'm calling bullshit.

Where was this ref when Kane was lighting JR on fire and electrocuting Shane-O-Mac's testicles!?

Where was this ref when Kane was lighting JR on fire and electrocuting Shane-O-Mac's testicles!? Probably saving a bunch of orphans from a pack of wolves or something. He has a personal life too, you know.

"We need to open a dialogue about this, John!"
I was also amused how he was practically pulling John off Bray for just a couple of mounted punches, then quietly sat by when Bray started doing the same and dropping forearms on Cena's face.

Man, this topic is on to something. I want to see a ref who help reform a heel from his cheating ways.
