Whatever happened to Malachi Jackson, anyhow? I was going to joke that Mrs. Massie ate him for his protein and iron content, but seriously, he's settled down and working at a Kia dealership. Wasn't he the youngest?

And the youngest looks to be about 5-10 years older than his oldest brother. I'm pretty sure Nick's 25 and Matt's 30, but I cbf looking it up to confirm. It's somewhere around there. I know I have the years right, not sure of the dates offhand.

You could go as far as to say "one's in his 30s, the other's in his mid-20s" if you really wanted to accentuate the disparity.

ho...ly...shit! Brian Myers!
I have the perfect plan to put GFW right at the top of wrestling. everybody knows that GFW is the hottest promotion going today, taking the title from the previous holder TNA, but as ridiculous as it is to believe there are a small handful of people who've never even seen TNA because they only watch that "sports entertainment" junk from New York. since GFW has wrestlers from TNA and WWE as well as GFW originals like The New Heavenly Bodies and...and...and others, they should have a three-way feud between GFW, TNA and WWE
...no, that won't work because everyone knows GFW is superior and would easily win. I know! have TNA and WWE form an alliance to face GFW. that's a license to print money right there! that's a program that fans would look back fondly on for years and decades to come

When the WWE thinks keeping Zack Ryder is a better asset than you, you might need to reevaluate a lot of things

Brian Myers is alright. He just never got a fair shot in WWE. I have seen some of his indy work, including live twice last year in Reseda. He's not much to watch, even when given a chance.

Of course in a place like PWG and the like, where everyone is Holy shit so amazing, he doesn't look like much, but I'm guessing a place like GFW would be less fixated on ring work and he'll shine with when there's a less critical audience with lower expectations (as long as you're not obviously terrible, you're cool in my book). He may not be much, but I'm sure his Indy work has made people think he's better than he was in WWE. I do enjoy him in PWS. As much of hot garbage that Jarrett's company seems to be arm, I want it to do well because I feel that there needs to be a (not WWE) place for guys who are good enough at what they do, but are never gonna get four stars from Meltzer or anything like that.

I like Brian Myers. He's not great, but he's decidedly above average, which really puts him in the top tier of GFW signees so far. I think he's solid and a perfect hire. GFW should be going for guys like him at the moment.
To GFW: Hire the Ex-WWE guys, guys who can go but without the TNA stink. Guys like Brian Myers, Drew Galloway, Matt Sydal, Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, Trent, Chris Hero, PJ Black, Gallows, the KES... Do with the Ex-WWE guys what TNA didn't. Don't bring them in at the expense of your homegrown guys... use them as part of a stable core alongside guys getting their real first big break with you. Combine the names above with guys like Chuck Taylor, Jigsaw, Everett, Gargano & Ciampa and you might have something. As long as you stop pushing complete nobodies and completely over the hill bodies (Duggan, Cornette), you have a chance to flourish.

I had high hopes for GFW, but the most telling thing is that, after a year of hype and a world tour in search of talent, half a dozen shows in and we've already seen Jim Cornette in the main event and Jarrett, Scott Steiner and Jim Duggan in the semi-main event/featured player slot.
It really all boils down to this: Booking Duggan, Cornette and Steiner in main/semi-main positions in 2015 means you're either completely desperate for talent and cant afford anyone who isn't a friend that's totally over the hill (which doesn't bode well for GFW) or you're a complete f***wit of a booker (which bodes even worse for GFW).
