I still can't get over how the NEX*GEN (that name is so stupid) champion is someone who's been wrestling for sixteen years.

I still can't get over how the NEX*GEN (that name is so stupid) champion is someone who's been wrestling for sixteen years. The name isn't bad in itself, and Sonjay Dutt isn't a bad champion. The problem is that just that the name does not fit the description of the title division. The NEX-GEN Championship is basically GFW's version of a junior heavyweight title or TNA's X-Division, but the name "NEX-GEN" would be more fitting if the belt were meant to be for a young lions/developmental division.

It's Aldis who's promoting the shows - my payment went to his promotional company.

GFW International Jr. Heavyweight Championship. Simple and to the point. No need for a stupid name.

would love to go to the Poughkeepsie show but those 9$ per ticketmaster fee plus 2$ venue fee really turn me off.

So GFW is now a stable of wrestlers rather than a promotion? And for the right price they will "invade" your local indie?
