So GFW is now a stable of wrestlers rather than a promotion? And for the right price they will "invade" your local indie? Jeff would be better off buying one of these indies outright and rebranding it as GFW.

Continuing their streak of losing to other promotions, GFW lost to PWS winning only 1 match in head to head battle.

Yeah I've heard rumors that as promoters see what GFW ended up being, they're actually realizing Jeff and Karen need them more than the promoters need GFW and are starting to make the Jarretts cater to them

TNA got more pull than they do. Oh yeah, as much shit as TNA gets (mostly deserved) they have national tv backing them up. What Jarrett was selling to a lot of the promoters didn't come through. He supposedly was talking about National TV and also potential tours with New Japan and AAA. Neither of those will happen for any of these so most aren't interested... nor are they interested in "TNA's scrap heap"

PWS is awesome, plus isn't the whole point of an invasion angle being that the invaders lose to the home promotion in the end? GFW are the ones using other promotions to stay relevant just because they can't or won't (Either?) do shows themselves.

Eh...I have personal reasons for my cynical attitude (someone who is a big person at PWS victimized my friend basically...) And it's good for the companies, and now Kevin can put that a whole company lost to him on that t-shirt of famous people he went over (that and DeMott's and Joe/"Johnny Falco"'s careers...). But GFW has even less of chance of credibility as "that company that loses to TNA and then loses to indies in the US." So if you expected anything out of GFW, you're going to be more disappointed, like more than before.

Long story short, despite hyping everything up for over a year, Jarrett was banking on having a tv deal for GFW, and the minor league baseball tour was not that profitable funny enough.

The minor league baseball shows weren't a bad idea, since while they weren't very profitable, GFW weren't losing money either since the stadiums took on the burden of selling the tickets. But Jarrett should've given up on the idea of a TV deal long ago and just resorted to pushing GFW as a webseries. He needs to at least start putting out an actual product since many of these wrestlers can just already find Indy bookings on their own

But Jarrett should've given up on the idea of a TV deal long ago and just resorted to pushing GFW as a webseries. He needs to at least start putting out an actual product since many of these wrestlers can just already find Indy bookings on their own The TV deal is hard to sell when you tried to get that without a show. Then the first set of shows ever didn't look appealing. As a TV network would a more than half empty baseball field look appealing to give them a TV slot. GFW hasn't done anything remotely close to what they promised. How many AAA guys have we seen? none. New Japan? Outside doing a US commentary on there yearly PPV and the US members of the Bullet Club for a couple shows, nothing there either and what Coc and Karl did in that one match I recall wasn't worth noting against a team of two nobodies. What one there own angles or worth noting event have they done on there own show. They crowd there champions most which where EX TNA guys. Is anything wrong with that for sure? Not really but it doesn't stand out either and a guy like Magnus isn't going to gain nework appeal. GFW needed a top free agent or a hot talent signing to draw that attention. Which would have been AJ Styles but to late for that. AJ was there best bet to gain that because he was a wanted talent.
