Does anyone have experience with the Amazon Fire yet? I have a Amazon Prime account if that matters for the Fire.
I often hear good things of the Roku 3 often on this forum, so it seems the one to beat.
Def getting one or the other.
Thoughts?

I've used a Roku player for 3-4 years now and upgraded versions only once. The entire time I've been very happy with it.

Ok my biggest concern plus one random question: My ps3 runs through my menus fine. I can easily get to and app if I want to run it, I push a button, it does what I say. Ok groovy. My blu ray player does not. I hit a button and it slowly sorts skips lazily to whatever icon I want it to go to and it's like running a very old computer, where does the Roku 3 fall in this? And looking at the packaging in the store it has this headphone gimmick from the remote, how well does that work?

It works fine, but I only used it once when I first got it for like 30 seconds just to see if it worked so I can't really speak to much to the sound quality. Roku3 home menu moves pretty fast. I haven't really noticed a lag. The thing about Roku is that its been around for 6 years and they've been pretty good about keeping the apps updated and stuff.
