I don't really think all these things happened because of Punk. The only thing that really came from him leaving is that Bryan worked two matches.
Batista's turn was obviously due to fan reaction.

If punk had stayed HHH would have lost o him and Bryan would have just wrestled one match at Mania to win the title. That was the biggest change.

In all seriousness, I wonder how his ego is doing seeing that he left and the show not only went on, but got better. I also think that there needs to be a reality check that Punk left not because their wasn't change, but because he didn't like the way he was booked, which is a story as old as pro wrestling itself.
