For some reason, growing up, it was common lingo in my family to call them (both in WCW and WWF) as Ham-and-Eggers, although as a small wee little child, I thought my brother was calling em "Hamineggers"
I don't think I switched from Ham-and-Eggers to jobbers till I started getting "smart" and being an internet fan.

I don't think I called them anything.
I didn't start using the term "jobber" until 2002 or so. At that point I used it to refer specifically to unknown Indy/developmental guys who wrestled on Velocity/Heat and occasionally for newer talents who came into the company in a relatively low key fashion such as Randy Orton, John Cena or Snitsky.
I never used it to describe established lower midcarders the way that we tend to do now. Like I never referred to Funaki, Scotty 2 Hotty or Shannon Moore as a jobber.

I called them "Losers".
They always lost, so that's what they were to me.

I called them by their names in the 80s.
Even the uncontracted ones, or what I assumed were uncontracted ones seemed to be regulars. Seemed like it was the same 40 or so guys.

I only started watching around 2004 or so, so I used to call them cruiserweights.

At school we called them losers or (in the days before we became aware of PC) we called them a rather derogatory term beginning with 'S' which related to a lack of physical/mental prowess on the part of the losing wrestler.

I used to call them jabronis.
Since I saw that one Marc Mero promo they've always been called jobbers by me.

Crash dummies, though, I did, and still do, call small ones meant to be flung around a lot, like Colin Delaney, "Lawn Darts".

"Black Phantom".
Seriously, that guy was on my TV every week and I kinda rooted for him. He looked cool, got some offense in, but always lost anyway.
