Bret Hart in 1994 and Brock Lesnar in 2003 are the only Royal Rumble winners to have competed in another match at the same PPV. Bret and Owen lost a tag match against The Quebeccers, and Lesnar defeated Big Show to qualify for the Rumble match itself.

If Kane appears in the 2015 Rumble match and eliminates at least one participant, then he will not only continue to have the most appearances (18), but also the record for most eliminations (40).

Konnan grew up in Cuba, for at least the first few years of his life.

Why was Ghana in quotes. Wasn't Kofi actually born there?

The only woman to challenge for a major World title was the non-wrestler Stephanie McMahon.
She competed in a Triple Threat match against Chris Jericho and Undisputed WWE Champion Triple H on the March 25, 2002 episode of Raw, perhaps more famous for being the episode with the first Draft to create the Raw and SmackDown rosters.

However, the only woman who can say she was the undisputed #1 Contender to a major World title is Chyna, who briefly earned that right in the build up to Summerslam 99. She however, quickly lost that right on the same night so she never actually got the title shot.

Oh yeah Chyna's is much more remembered (I was gonna include it but didn't think it was obscure enough). But to actually challenge for the title is much better . But never forget... I just watched the episode, and I remember watching it back in 2002 too, and the actual belief that Stephanie could win the title was there just for a second when both Jericho and Trips were down and she had Jericho pinned.

Chris Jericho never had a major injury. He had a broken arm early in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, though I guess your assertion might still count, just in that it didn't keep him out of action a whole hell of a lot. He also had a ruptured (or maybe it was herniated) disc after doing Dancing with the Stars in 2011. He was considering having neck fusion surgery which potentially could have ended his wrestling career for good but did DDP Yoga instead, which got rid of his pain. A technicality but there ya go.

Wrestlemania 21 was the opposite of Wrestlemania 2000 (16), which had no singles matches: Mania 21 had no tag matches.
