In 2001, Randy Orton won PWI's Rookie of the year, with Lesnar coming in 1st runner up, K-Kwik (R-Truth) in 2nd and Prototype (Cena) in 3rd. Of the 29 winners prior, only two are still active in the business - Giant (Big Show, 1996) and Kurt Angle (2000). Of the 75 runners up before them, only Scott Steiner, Dustin Rhodes (Goldust), Scotty the Body (Raven), Mark Henry and Sting* are still active in the ring.
Every PWI Match of the Year since 1992 has been a WWE/WWF match.
Hulk Hogan has only held five different titles in his career - WWE World, WCW World, WWE tag and both the Northern and Southern Division titles in NWA Southeastern.
No NWO member has ever held a title in ECW (or ROH for that matter).

Daniel Bryan is, thus far, the only wrestler to hold both the PWG and WWE World title.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have both been PWG and NXT Champ.

The last AWA champion (Larry Zbysko), ECW champion (Rhino) and WCW champion (Booker T) have all appeared on WWE TV within the past two months (WWE revivals excluded).

When did Russo appear onscreen in WWE? He appeared a Raw during the build to WrestleMania 14, presenting Sable with an award for her Raw magazine cover. Here he is on Mania too www.youtube.com/watch?v=v62Dwqj4vM8no embedding wwe footage not from their official account

Anyone know when the last time two Englishmen wrestled one-on-one at a PPV before Barrett & Neville? I honestly can't think of any. The closest I can find is two Brits in multi-men matches - Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre faced off in 2011 Elimination Chamber then later that year Barrett and Mason Ryan were on opposite teams at Survivor Series.

Had Vinnie Ru been the editor in 1992, you can sure as hell bet he would have credited himself for publishing those scandalous Elizabeth/Ric Flair doctored photographs.

I don't think Scottish and Welsh people are considered "Englishmen". British maybe, but not English.

When thinking of a name for Curt Hennig in WWE, some names thought of were Hurricane Hennig, Heroic Hennig & King Curtis.

No NWO member has ever held a title in ECW (or ROH for that matter). That is one freaky-ass statistic. The LWo has a better record in ECW though. Eddie obviously had the TV title over there, and wasn't he tag champion once too?

When did Russo appear onscreen in WWE? I believe he appeared as Vic Venom on a couple of episodes of LiveWire. He was the one who "guaranteed Bret Hart will win the 1997 Royal Rumble", so, of course, he didn't.

Kane was the only man to appear in both the 2005 & 2015 Royal Rumble matches.

Triple H won his WWF debut match with a move similar to the RKO And used a frickin' spinning heel kick in the same match.

Even though WWE ran Big Show's fathers death as an angle in 1999, his father actually passed away in 1992.

So if Hennig became King Curtis, would he have jumped to WCW to lead the Dungeon of Doom?
