"Riot" and "Rage" were the original names proposed for Edge. His nickname would have made a lot more sense with either of them. I can't recall him ever doing anything that, were it to be in a film, the MPAA would enforce an R rating. Ehh, the Live Sex Celebration would have gotten an R as soon as Lita's tit popped out like it did. I mean it was a NIPPLE, not something wholesome like a decapitation and evisceration.

The Undertaker has never won the WWE title clean. He didn't cheat at WrestleMania 13 Bret Hart interference before the tombstone.

The word "literally" is used too often in the thread about obscure facts.

Bret Hart interference before the tombstone. What about Mania 23? That was the World Heavyweight title.

Bret Hart interference before the tombstone. What about Mania 23? I was talking about just the WWE title not the WHC.

The first wrestling match ever broadcast in HD was Vader vs. 8-Ball of D.O.A. in early 1998 at a technology seminar that showed what future televisions would be able to do.
The first wrestling match held at an electronics convention was Scott Norton vs. Scotty Riggs at an E3! promoting a WCW N64 game that same year.

What's funny is that I LOVED that song and was happy whenever the local oldies station would play it (I was born in '87, so I wasn't around when it was a hit. Part of the reason I loved it was because the organ solo made me think of hockey games). I knew who Jimmy Hart was but didn't know of his contributions to the music of wrestling and just music in general until the mid 2000s and when I found out he was involved with that song, it blew my mind.

Wrestler Jason Broyles appeared on both ECW's last PPV Guilty As Charged 2001 (as EZ Money) and WCW's last PPV Greed 2001 (as Jason Jett).

Kharma was in both WWE 12 and WWE 13. The only match Kharma ever participated in was the 2012 Royal Rumble, earning her the distinction of having more video game appearances than she did wrestling matches in WWE.

Another interesting distinction: Kharma is one of few women to only face men during her time in WWE, joining great names like Fake Hillary Clinton and Fake Rosie O'Donnell.

Nobody in WWE history has completed the big 4 salvo in one year (winning the Rumble, winning the title at 'Mania, defending it succesfully at Summerslam and being the last man on a Survivor Series team). Stone Cold came the closest in 2001 when he won the Rumble, beat The Rock to win the title at Mania X-7, succesfully retained versus Angle at Summerslam (albeit in a DQ defeat) but he was the last man eliminated in the Team WWF vs. Team Alliance match at Survivor Series. Batista also came close in 2005. He won the Rumble and defeated Triple H at 'Mania 21, succesfully defended it versus JBL at Summerslam but was eliminated early on in the Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown match at Survivor Series. And Yokozuna came close in '93. He won the Rumble, defeated Bret Hart for the title at Mania IX, succesfully retained it when he was counted out against Luger at Summerslam but due to another count out midway through his 5-on-5 Survivor Series match he failed to attain the final part of the tetralogy too. Wrestlers who completed the first three parts but were unable to complete the final part due to not being in a traditional Survivor Series match: Bret Hart (1994), Shawn Michaels (1996), Stone Cold (1998) and Sheamus (2012) This is all completely worthless information but there you go .

Both Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan got World Title matches 1 month after losing at WrestleMania. Nash in 1996 and Hogan in 2002.

Both Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan got World Title matches 1 month after losing at WrestleMania. Nash in 1996 and Hogan in 2002. That's actually a pretty common thing due to a lot of feuds continuing after 'Mania and a lot of big stars losing at 'Mania: (Not counting Champions getting their rematches after losing the belt at 'Mania - from 2000 onwards the PPV after 'Mania saw these people also get a WWE/World Title shot after losing at 'Mania): The Rock (2000), Shawn Michaels (2004), Triple H (2005), Shawn Michaels (2007), Randy Orton (2007), Edge (2007), John Cena (2008), Triple H (2008), Randy Orton (2009), Alberto Del Rio (2011), John Cena (2011), Chris Jericho (2012), Ryback (2013) and Kane (2014). Also, Cena got a match for the WWE Championship a month after not even appearing at WrestleMania (2003) as did Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase (in a 6-Man Tag match albeit) in 2009 and Christian actually won a match for the World Title one month after not wrestling at WrestleMania in 2011.
