Just as a wrestler and his overall character, Owen played a really good heel, was crisp as an autumn morning in the ring, had loads of awesomely douchey facial expressions that complimented his character and had a good storyline behind him of being the one over-looked and yet still I've seen a lot of people ignore Owen and give Bret all the attention in the Hart Family.
Don't get me wrong, Bret was a good wrestler even though I think his promo skills weren't anywhere near as good as Owen's, but Owen seems to never get the attention he deserves because when a majority of wrestling fans hear 'The Hart Family' I bet a majority would instantly think of Bret Hart.

Honestly, that's not exactly a unique opinion to have. A lot of people I know preferred Owen. Though I think we can all agree Bruce Hart is the best Hart

I'm probably the only person out there that doesn't really care for any of the Hart's. They're alright, but overall just meh.

Oh you also forgot that Owen Hart had two slammies! WOO! He had all the grace and respect of a legend, he was a selfless human being who probably wanted to give the other goofs a chance to boost their spirits, you know Owen was the winner of every Slammy category but he convinced the top brass to change the names out of the goodness of his heart.

His commentary on King of the Ring 1996 is amazing. I love that PPV because of him.

So, Owen was the face and Bret was the heel right?

If Owen had Bret's attitude to wrestling he'd probably have been even more successful than Bret was, but Owen was more laid back and didn't take himself so seriously. It's a sad irony that the man who planned to retire early and who saw wrestling as an easy way to make money for his family was consumed by the business faster than the older brother who built his entire life around what happened in that ring.

The fact that he didn't take himself so seriously is what I liked about him, the fact that he was so laid-back was a really cool character quality to have and I commend him for being a jokester who could laugh at himself.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE.
Yeah, Owen seemed to have more fun in general and more dynamic in the ring. Plus he had personality. Personality goes a long way.

I'm probably the only person out there that doesn't really care for any of the Hart's. They're alright, but overall just meh. No your not. I've always thought they were extremely overrated. And Stu was the best Hart, the dude lived to be like 195 years old and was made completely out of Silly Putty, thats frickin amazing.

His commentary on King of the Ring 1996 is amazing. I love that PPV because of him. It's a great PPV all around, but damn does Owen make it better. Especially during the Mero/Austin match when he's ripping on Sable for being homely and useless, I laughed my ass off the whole time. And any time JR would disagree with him he'd get so angry in his loveable Owen way. I prefer Bret to Owen, but only becuase Bret Hart was my first favorite wrestler and is still damn close. In my book, Bret's top 5, Owen's top 10.

Wasn't there a later promo with the two of them, where Davey repeated Owen's "two titles, two Slammys" line in an amusingly garbled way - or did I just dream that? I might've just dreamed that. But regardless they had some very funny moments together

Two time Slammy winner, King of Harts, and the only white member of the Nation of Domination. Those titles surpass all conventional titles!

Bret was my childhood hero (well after I somewhat outgrew Warrior and Hogan), but I still sided with Owen during their feud in 1994. I especially enjoyed Owen's promo after winning KoTR 1994.
As the youngest of my family with several older siblings, I could relate.
