That is what will most likely be the final Extreme Rising World title defense. At a show in Picayune MS which was co promoted by Powerslam Productions and Wrestling Outreach. Luke Hawx defended the title against Outlaw Matt Lancie. Extreme Rising claimed the title never changed hands. Luke Hawx still has the title and said something about defending it against Shane Douglas this weekend. I could see Shane winning it and throwing it down just like he did with the NWA and MLW titles. That will probably be the last we hear about it. Or he declares himself, Eastern Rising champion.

Luke Hawx has some real crappy luck. First Extreme Rising implodes, then the Hardcore Roadtrip promoter fails to pay anyone.
They're selling the promoter's laptop now.

Just learned that Luke Hawx and Jazz got a fan to drive them back into the states. Lots of the workers got stranded in Canada.Between this fiasco and the Extreme Rising crap Luke has had a bad month. Can't wait to see his upcoming video discussing the Hardcore Roadtrip.

...and not an embarrassment at all. From PWInsider: O'Neill later wrote on his Facebook page, "Kevin Kleinrock I hate to admit Shane Douglas was 100% right on about Luke Hawx. His true colors have been shown. He is not loyal team player for Extreme Rising. Explain to me again why I've been promoting pro wrestling filled with egomaniacs with low self-esteem? welcome to the wrestling business.

Anything with "hardcore" or "extreme" in the name should be banned from wrestling.

Is there a reason why requesting money up front isn't standard operating procedure for any indy wrestler?
You'd think that it's up to the promoter to have enough capital to pay all expenses to begin with, and then hopefully recover all of it and more through ticket sales.
