Everything about it is uncomfortable to watch from the accusation to the allusion to the Owen/Austin accident ("you never even gave me a damn call") to Bret garbling his lines (not much wonder some of you think he was terrible on the mic). Was he going to be a manager after the concussion? Since he's egging Steiner on, it would appear that way. The video claims it's from September 2000, just 6 months before WCW closed shop and was bought out by Vince. When did Bret and WCW part ways?

This was also a few weeks before Russo went home with his concussion and never came back. Even if he did have a plan with Bret, it obviously fell by the wayside when he left.
Then again, I probably shouldn't defend Russo here. He also brought him back on the April 10th "reboot" show to stare down Bischoff and Russo at the end of Nitro and never followed up on it.
