So my cousin and his friends have started working for Vemma and I kinda feel like its a scam. All I hear though is its great and they'll be making 6 figures a year soon and get a 2014 BMW....uh...thoughts?

Quick Googling claims it's a "Multi-Level Marketing" business model...which is a nice way to say pyramid scheme.
Let me guess.....you get a percentage of sales based on how many folks you can recruit to sell along with your ACTUAL sales? It's technically not illegal, the style of sales (Recruit, door-to-door, and hold "Parties") is similar for many pyramid scheme style ventures. Your cousin's best bet is to not sign anything, get far away and look for employment elsewhere if possible. If any "Set-up" fees have already been exchanged, you'll likely never see that money again so count it as gone, but I'd recommend nealry any other line of work.
Also...like MANY of the old school "Schemes" (Tupperware, Amway, Steak Knives, Mary Kay) It is conceivably possible to make those six-figures and get that BMW.....by recruiting the equivalent of a REAL personal business and investing YEARS if not your entire adult life into the company. The business model isn't viable unless you constantly sell product or are constantly bringing in new salespeople under you.

Looking over their site...they have a separate section on "How" to get paid, and your commissions are based on some nebulous "Reward points" and "Tiers" that aren't adequately defined. Add to that a TON of disclaimers about "Results not typical" etc. If your cousin is motivated, and good with people, it MAY be a worthwhile experience...but I doubt they'll make money, as these things aren't designed for the base of the pyramid to do so.

It's a scam, here's something from Truth in Advertising, and it has a C+ rating from the BBB. link

Thats why I was figuring, I got shit yesterday because they got mad over me trying to discourage a recent High School grad from jumping in and to do research first before joining.

One of my really good friends is in Vemma, and seeing a lot of success. IMO it's kind of a sketchy business (run by a sketchy guy), and most people at my school just lost money after joining, buying the pack, and being unable to sign people up. Also, during the first few months after he started, he recruited like crazy. Like, we'd be at a party and he'd approach random people and talk to them about Vemma. I almost signed on, but I'm glad I didn't because most people fail.
