No. I was somewhat enjoying the show around that time, it wasn't great but it was okay. I don't think it's worse now, it's just different and different in a way that I don't like. I blame Big John.

Cons: Magnus had a terrible title reign that was ended by Eric Young of all people. Dixie Carter left and returned less than a month. Bully Ray became a Cuddly babyface just weeks after threatening to kill Anderson's family. The tag team division is just 2 tag teams. The Bro Mans are still tag team champions. Abyss returned as worst as before with a Rellik mask. A number of the talented veteran performers are MIA or left TNA. Davey Richards got highlights in his hair. The Beautiful People reunited and somehow got worst. X Division matches are still less than 3 minutes. Gunner is forever feuding with James Storm. Jeff Hardy as Willow. MVP is a terrible boss or at least booked that way. Anderson is feuding with Samuel Shaw and someone how making the unstable loon the face. Gimmick matches are back with a vengeance.
Pros: Samoa Joe got rebuilt as a bad ass for a while. EC3 and Ladyboy Chaser are an entertaining duo. Sanada is X Division champ and the belt is actually defended. At in Japan it is. TNA has more than 1 black person on the roster. Roode is still the best overall talent in the company. Gail Kim is the best female. Lei'd Asscape is gone. Sting finally left.

"Has TNA gotten better since Bound For Glory 2013?"
No.

It's gotten dramatically worse. They're at their lowest point creatively since the whole Claire Lynch/Aces and 8s thing happened at the same time.
There can be an argument made though that this is the worst TNA has been creatively, which is quite the strong statement to make.

Seriously, though, I'm more or less agreeing with that : I'm not really a fan of the Russoesque, all gimmicks all the time, current vibe of the show. It's not dreadful, and I'm cutting them slack for the last-minute EY-instead-of-Joe booking, but still... it's very uneven, right now : I can love one week, and hate the next one, there's no real consistency, and that's annoying.

I don't know if it's necessarily gotten worse, but it sure isn't any better.

In the same way that getting stabbed is better than getting shot, yes.

Some of the new stuff is good, and I love that Hogan and Bischoff and cronies are gone. However they've lost so many of the guys I watched for that it's more/less a wash.

If by "better" you mean laughably bad, then yes.

No Flat No, it had a little stride after Lockdown then it went down hill fast, and apparently if anyone doubts Russo is back we have a C omitted match at Sacrifice. We get a discount champion instead of a paper one, a four team tag division, five knockouts and a huge imbalance of faces and heels, inconsistent storylines, inconsistent booking as well

It had a chance but not showing the Knux mini movie for two weeks in a row really killed the momentum they had.

Basically if you're a fan of Russo style booking, recycled WWE angles, and gimmick matches; TNA is the promotion for you.

There can be an argument made though that this is the worst TNA has been creatively, which is quite the strong statement to make. I would definitely agree. I got some heat for saying it before because it's still a strong IWC opinion, but I think cutting back the PPVs has played a large part in it. Now yes, ideally a well booked show would make the PPVs they do have seem more important, but I really think as soon as TNA lost their big monthly show to build towards, they lost all sense of any real direction and that's how we ended up with stories like Chris Sabin as World Champion.

Better? YES
Better in the good sense? HELLL NO.
When the audience collectively wants to see Shaw kill both Anderson and Hemme something is amiss.

In the same way that getting stabbed is better than getting shot, yes. I don't know about that. Depending on the ammo used and the location, getting shot could be easier to treat and deal with over dirty stab wounds. I could also about how worse coming to worse I'd rather be shot than stabbed to death as well. You see what recent TNA is doing to me people?! Anyway, there is not enough NO in this world to come close enough to being the proper amount. The talent pool is thinner and worse than at any other point in TNA history. The people coming in or being re-signed are either the bottom of the barrel guys that no company would touch except TNA or ones who stand no chance outside the TNA bubble. The titles are complete jokes held by people either booked worse than WWE's midcard champs or people so untalented that anyone in the ring with them leaves looking worse no matter the outcome. The writing team has shown they are completely bankrupt creatively and in true Russo fashion are completely ignoring the most basic parts of storytelling and wrestling. TNA is making me pine for the days of Total NonStop Angle and I found that to be the worse wrestling I have ever seen in any major company...until current TNA.

Holy shit, it sounds terrible! I haven't been able to catch much of it lately due to having to get up crazy early for work but I'm going to try to get in the thread and riff this week. It can't be that bad.....can it?

No...just no
Honestly it's gotten so bad, it's almost to the point of not wanting to discuss it anymore.
