What's more annoying?
Non Wrestling Fans constantly trying to take the fun out of it for you. "Smart Wrestling fans" who trying to cut down "Marks".
Oddly enough, they both can follow under the same category sometimes as "everything's a work!" guy. Everytime anything happens that shatters their pre-conceived belief about WWE, HHH, any particular wrestler, angles, firings, interviews "It's all a work Bro!"

Smart Fans--not Smart Fans in general. Most smart fans are nice. People on this forum are smart fans. People on this forum are nice.
But man, the wrong Smart fan can suck the life out of any room, event, or conversation.

I'll take any wrestling fan over an ignorant non-fan any day of the week. No need to hear how "gay" it is to watch men in tights fight.

Smart fans
At least when non-fans do it, it's because they don't watch it. Seeing actual fans ruin my suspension of disbelief, whether it be by directly talking about it being fake or by some of their actions/responses, reallllllllly pisses me off

At least the smart fan person I don't have as much of a hill to climb with WHY they are being an ass. The non-fan annoys me more because I personally can not STAND someone trying to state these absolute opinions and "facts" about something they know nearly nothing about

I hate when non fans act as if you dont know its scripted, like some I came across , were really under the impression that I watch thinking of it being an actual sport or competition. One guy said I cant see how you would rather watch wrestling than any other show on tv, I asked how often does your favorite show air, he said about 20 original episodes a year, I explained to him we get 10 original shows a month, more if you count promotion other than wwe. Smart fans can be terrible, especially the type that will spoil upcoming storylines/ return. I also get angered by the older crowd ,who are under the impression that pro wrestling at some point in the 70's was real , it really grinds my gears .

Your entry-level "smart" scrub is the worst. The guys you meet at house shows who are still on the "Cena can't wrestle" wagon, or use the term Heat every third sentence.

'Stop the presses we've got news for you all. Tough guy sport, pro wrestling is *actually* scripted! Yes, in a revelation that has STUNNED the sports world, this website can now EXCLUSIVELY reveal that the bouts between the colourful characters are FAKE and put together by the wrestlers THEMSELVES backstage! Moments billed as real, such as crazy mask man Mankind's fall off the top of a 20ft cage no longer retain their impact as the entire march was PREDETERMINED before the 'violent' and 'bloody' bout began. For more on this absolute filler non-story from a main stream news site that should know better, click here'

I usually try to point out it's not "fake", it's "scripted". You don't "fake" falling off a 20 foot ladder, after all.
I did point out to a guy once that it absolutely was a scripted series of events of two men battling each other in a series of staged spots all for the sake of excitement and progressing a story, then asked him if he'd watched a movie or television show lately since it's the same concept.

I use similar counter-arguments - "You can't fake athleticism or gravity." I had a friend who'd ask what the other person likes to watch (I'll use "Lost" as an easy example). He'd then ask them if they remembered those actors aren't stuck on the island.....

I can usually talk round someone who's all 'lol its fayk' at me, and failing that I don't give a shit about anyone's opinions of my leisure time activities anyway.
Douchebag smarks, though (and obviously this isn't all smarks) are just wretched because you think 'you are the reason why people won't take this pasttime seriously' and they just make it worse for everyone.

The most annoying fans are the ones who can't differentiate between the Character (whether it is on Raw, Smackdown or Total Divas) and the real life person.
I mean it's one thing to discuss the characters, but to start saying you outright hate a person and start insulting them just because you don't like the character they play on a "reality" show is downright pathetic
It's not just non wrestling fans though, most people who watch any of the other crap that is on E! fall in to the same trap

Neither.
I'm a grown man, what do I care what others think about my entertainment choices or how I enjoy them?

It's my little secret if I'm at work but I'm sure I would be surprised who's been into it at some point.

Neither. I'm a grown man, what do I care what others think about my entertainment choices or how I enjoy them? I agree but I do get annoyed at 96% of YouTube commenters. But that's pro wrestling and everything else too

But 10 years ago was 2004. There are YouTube comments prasing stuff like Katie Vick and HLA and Snitsky putting a baby because it was before FAKE AND GAY CENA PG. I shit you not.
