I've thought about this before, but has anyone ever attempted to do a move for move remake of a classic match before. It seems like something somebody would've done on the Indies at some point, such as attempting to recreate a famous match like Steamboat/Savage move for move. I think it would be an interesting experiment, and especially interesting if there was no prior acknowledgement just to see if the crowd catches on to what they're doing at some point.

What a clever idea. I've seen spots imitated, but I don't think I've ever seen a move for move remake. That would be very cool.

I've had this exact same thought before. I would love to see it attempted.

In IWA-MS, Kevin Steen said that he re-enacted the HBK/Vince McMahon match from WM 22 with Ian Rotten.

Wasn't the finish to Benoit vs. Sasuke an homage to Dynamite vs. Tiger Mask?
