Was it that loaded? I've only seen him talk about the Gunner vs Storm match which is something that has already been done to death.

I think he means proportionately to normal Impact cards, it was "loaded". It's sort of like WWE PPVs (although they've been slacking lately), where bigger matches happen on the bigger shows, so you expect the crowd to giver bigger reactions. Of course, TNA booking isn't really helping convince anyone to go crazy in excitement, either.

How dare the fans not like everything they're seeing. It's all their fault, no fault goes on TNA for the fans not being ecstatic.

You can't cattle prod the audience into cheering, JR.

To be fair, the IZ crowd does have a history of sucking, which is the main reason many people(including people on here) were glad when TNA got away from it & went on the road. Sure, TNA isn't exactly great right now, but even with the good stuff, the crowd still barely reacts to anything.

JR needs to come in as Willow's manager. Purely for my own amusement.

That was before the Cast Members incident. That was the last straw for quite a few IZ regulars. I think they started with the canned noise and the plants after that.

I glad JR said that the reactions of the crowd matter to TV companies and by extension advertisers as I kept saying that when WWE crowds were in open revolt.

In reference to what JR said it's a little from column A and a little from column B.
You gotta give the fans something to react to. Yes the early matches for a wrestling fan were in general fun to watch but not everyone in there is a huge wrestling fan. The people on the floor (half plants imo) they are...the people in the seats aren't. Gotta get them involved. Have Bully Ray give all the spot monkeys a damn seminar in fan involvement 101. He had the crowd hot before the match even started. Go old school getting them involved. You can't have a tourist walk in and see flippy mcflipperton doing spots and have him start cheering.

The Impact Zone is the wrong place to hold a pay per view.

That was before the Cast Members incident. That was the last straw for quite a few IZ regulars. I think they started with the canned noise and the plants after that. Please tell me, what was the Cast Members Incident? Basically around the time Hogan came in (after they brought in his cronies like the nasty boys and Hogan cut a promon on the six sided ring burying it and introducing the four sided one) the fans started trying to derail the shows a bit so before a taping the head of production came out to the ring and told the audience not to swear, chant that the show sucks or flash gang signs (for some reason, don't think that has ever been a problem at a wrestling show) and that they are cast members so should do what TNA wants them to basically This video starts recording just after he tells them they're cast members (hence the "pay us then" chant)

He's not incorrect that the crowd's energy is a big part of the show, but TNA has not do e themselves any favors by literally alienating their own audience.

JR needs to come in as Willow's manager. Purely for my own amusement. Are you telling me that you wouldn't want to see JR act(even more so) like a real life Hank Hill? <willow does something> JR: "That boy ain't right."
