Figured this was worth a little debate.

Shield / Wyatts. Shield / Evolution started out slow and eventually picked up, Shield / Wyatts the whole time was just a war.

That's a tough one. Both are serious MOTY contenders. However, Wyatts/Shield is the only match I've seen get a THIS IS AWESOME chant before the thing even started, and it stayed awesome right from the first bell until the end.

Shield/Evolution was an easy MOTN, and a very good match that I'd show a new wrestling fan in a heartbeat...
...but I'd show them Shield/Wyatts first. That match was so much better paced and had much more engaging psychology. Roman Reigns powering out of Sister Abigail, as goofy as it was, was way more interesting and engaging than Rollins' insane (and badly telegraphed) spot in the stands.

Wyatts vs. Shield gets my vote because of the build. I think the build for that match made it a lot better. While I enjoyed the build for Shield vs. Evolution, I didn't feel it was as strong.
But the important thing to remember is that both matches were different. They were telling different stories and they told those stories very very well. Really they are both equally great.

It's virtually impossible for the Shield to be in a bad match, but this was jaw dropping greatness. As good as the Wyatt match? Possibly not, but this match didn't have 7 foot bearded lunatics doing suicide dives out of the ring.
The Shield totally bring out the little kid in me, because I never want to see them lose or split. They're incredible.

The day after the Shield does break up for real, I want whoever the president at the time is to order flags be flown at half mast.

The Evolution match was great but The Wyatt match was nigh on perfect.
The Wyatts match had a better build and therefore a hotter crowd and more importantly there was hardly a wasted motion in the whole match, every move and every gesture meant something.
Evolution had not one (which is acceptable) but two plodding face in peril segments and stupid moments that ruined the suspension of disbelief like Reigns and Batista having a lay down for five minutes or when The Shield did the triple powerbomb and made it as easy as possible for Evolution to break-up the pin (after everything they've done The Shield should be above such rookie errors). The camera work was a little off too. Don't get me wrong it's not a massive deal as it was still a fantastic match once it got going but that's what separates the two encounters.

Shield/Evolution was an awesome match. Shield/Wyatts was slighly more awesome. Shield vs. The Family remains my MOTY whereas Shield/Evolution slotted in in 4th place (behind Shield/Wyatts, Bryan/HHH & Steen/Elgin).
My point is both were awesome in different ways but Shield/Wyatts was slightly more awesome.

Shield/Wyatt just had such a great atmosphere and everybody looked great.
While I enjoyed last night's match, it was too clunky at times. I don't know if it was because the camera men never filmed in those places, or they were trying to hide certain spots, but for whatever reason, the camera work kind of sucked and was distracting to me.

The match against the Wyatts was easily the best. I actually found the Evolution/Shield match a little slow and dull for the first 10 mins or so and zoned out for spells until it really got going.

vs Wyatts wins, vs Evolution was brilliant but that Wyatts match is on another level completely (along with their Raw match together).

I will say this for Evolution - they didn't have the better match, not by far, but I think it solidified the Shield's legacy in a way no other match could.

The Wyatt/Shield match from Elimination Chamber wasn't even their highest ranked match by Meltzer. According to him:
Elimination Chamber (2/23/14) – 4.25 stars RAW (3/3/14) – 4.5 stars Main Event (4/8/14)– 4.25 stars
I'm not sure I'd agree with that.

Shield/Wyatt's at EC was perfection. Reigns last stand is one of my favorite things ever.

The Raw Wyatts/Shield match did have the best story-telling of the bunch, and it was an amazing match. Though I'm not sure it was the best of the trilogy personally.
Evolution/Shield was a great match though too in its own right.
