See, it's tough. I remember when TNA first started out on Spike, and it wasn't perfect, but people were thinking that it would grow in 5 years. And not only did it not, it's ratings have gotten worse recently. So, optimism is really tough.
Basically, you would have to do a complete restart. As long as it's with the Carters, it won't grow, so, as long as they're around, it's going to go down and eventually die off. And also, with the lower ratings, I'm gonna be surprised to see them make it to the end of the year with their contract running out (and to see if maybe Double J will swoop in and take them over). Everyone needs to be fired, and do what Jerry Jarrett wanted to do on his Guest Booker DVD about WCW 2000, where he released everyone from their contract, and said, you wanna go, go and if you want to stay, stay. Well, except for all the champions, if they want to go, they gotta drop the title. It will all be done after a set of tapings. And everyone new would be hired. New production staff, new creative/bookers, new camera people, new everything. You start from scratch. TNA is too far gone, so they'd have to start from scratch.
Where would I like to see them? In much better shape, where they have better ratings, better talent, better direction. But I'd also like 10 million dollars too.

Having it's own area in the "Vault" section of WWE Network. I used to be a TNA fan many moons ago, but I grew tired of constantly hoping for a change or an alternative to WWE and other products. It grows increasingly worse year by year, and I don't think anything will save it.

I've barely followed TNA at all and that's because for as long as I've seen it, it's been WWE Lite or it had the 6 sided ring and I couldn't get into that.
What Paul Heyman was talking about years ago, had he been signed to essentially take over TNA... I feel like that would've been a healthy alternative to WWE. And it would've been a stark contrast, too.
I would get rid of people that are reminiscent of a past time in wrestling. Mike Tenay and Taz? Good god. Try as I might, I cannot listen to them. Also, what a stupid choice for a duo anyway.

I would be very happy. If TNA is still around with a 2 hour show on TV in 5 years. I am not sure how likely that is but if it does that I would consider that a success.

What sucks as well, not to rag too much on TNA, but I feel the passion that fans had has been sucked out of a lot of them, and the hardcore fan base has slowly diminished. It's not even a product with a cult following anymore, people have been beaten down and heart broken because of the product, and I think if the company was shut down and something new was started in its place with a similar roster, it might be a better idea, simply because of how bad the image of the company is. Or even, if new people came in, keep the history with titles, but completely change the name of the company, and get the TNA stink off of them. I think that is what I would really like to see. Not only new people, but a new name to get rid of that TNA/Impact Wrestling failure stink. I don't think the TNA brand can grow anymore because of how bad it's been, and how they've just shit all over their fans in recent years. In 2005, hell, even 2008 and 2009, it had the potential to grow, but now, that potential is gone.

Well in 5 years, I would hope they would have had a new owner by now.

I would like to see WWE assume TNA's assets and retire the brand. I would rather see a new company emerge as the #2 promotion. *cough*chikara*cough*

- a revamped X-Division (I have no problem with it being the "TNA IC Title" stature wise, but increase the emphasis on high spots again so it at least has a point) - a few more tag teams - more athletic knockouts - more Spud - Kenny King as a Cena style top face - Angle gone from the company and retired - the Wolves with an American Males 2.0 comedy gimmick - Stomper - No more f***ing mega heel stables for at least ten years

New management, and more modest goals. It will NEVER likely be any meaningful threat to WWE, and it'd be wise to live leaner and realize being a big fish and a smaller pond can be a good deal. If that goes well, then maybe they can expand again, but they will not be ready in 5 years even if they started that now. Maybe 7-10, but 5 isn't enough to recuperate from the damage that's been done by trying to run before it could walk.

Are you saying that under the assumption that TNA is actually competition for WWE right now? If that's the reason I'll just disagree with that right off. WWE has morphed into an entertainment company that happens to feature, at this time in my opinion, some pretty damn good wrestling. If it's the "no competition for wwe thing", well there has to be some to have some. Think that would be great as longtime fans would be able to relive the periods of TNA on the network that made them fans in the first place. Which to me benefits fans of old TNA tremendously. Now are you saying that someone should buy it and turn it around. I can get all kinds of behind that one. If they are going to sell to someone else though they need to do it quick and they need to do it now. It's going to take a long time to fix the negative perception this company has fostered in the past couple years and it needs to start ASAP. Honestly think it would be better to just start fresh then to try to fix this though, but it would be fun to see how they would do with a new owner and new game plan.
