I want anyone except WWE to buy TNA, because that does nothing for anyone. I question this comment in a couple ways. Are you saying that under the assumption that TNA is actually competition for WWE right now? If that's the reason I'll just disagree with that right off. WWE has morphed into an entertainment company that happens to feature, at this time in my opinion, some pretty damn good wrestling. If it's the "no competition for wwe thing", well there has to be some to have some. Think that would be great as longtime fans would be able to relive the periods of TNA on the network that made them fans in the first place. Which to me benefits fans of old TNA tremendously. Now are you saying that someone should buy it and turn it around. I can get all kinds of behind that one. If they are going to sell to someone else though they need to do it quick and they need to do it now. It's going to take a long time to fix the negative perception this company has fostered in the past couple years and it needs to start ASAP. Honestly think it would be better to just start fresh then to try to fix this though, but it would be fun to see how they would do with a new owner and new game plan. It's not so much the "competition for WWE" part so much as the "decent place for wrestlers to work" part.

If their treatment of their talent remains the way that it is, then my choice is out of business.

But seriously in the grand scheme of things, I understand this is a wrestling based board and all, with the number of people unemployed and losing their jobs in this country...I could give two shits if a group of 30-40 wrestlers putting on a average to horrible show every week don't have jobs anymore. Might be harsh but that's the truth. TV is an entertainment business. If you aren't entertaining in an entertainment business you shouldn't be employed. Let it die...someone salvage what's salvageable from the ashes and let it rise anew reborn. They are wrestlers...if they are any good whatsoever with TV exposure behind them they could get booked out in a heartbeat. If they can't....maybe they aren't as good as they thought and should take up a new line of work.

In 5 years TNA will finally reach new heights with World Champion 'The Mammal' Barry Griffiths leading the charge.

Do it WCW 90s style and more:
A rich guy should buy it, shovel money at it, and make it huge. Put it on multiple channels live at the same time for maximum exposure. Sell PPVs for $1. Buy as many WWE shares as you can, to get a piece of the competition.
Make massive offers for the best WWE talent as their contracts run out. Make sure you get ALL WWE wrestlers whose contracts expire, no matter who it is. Get just about every indy guy too, buy out ROH and take all their guys as well. Maybe even pay CM Punk $10,000,000 for only 50 dates/year. Get the Rock, get Goldberg, get Stone Cold, get HBK, get just about anyone and everyone with name value.
Have house shows just about everywhere, and have very low ticket prices. Go to every state, every Canadian province, and most European countries.
Have lots and lots of pyro, make it exciting.
WWE might run out of wrestlers altogether as their contracts expire.
Even then, they might only be about 50% as successful as WWE. This whole operation would cost about a billion just to get going, but it needs to be done.
This might all sound dumb, but there's not much of an alternative, other than the status quo.

I'll second Borash as the new lead announcer. Tazz can stay, he's mildly amusing.

- TNA remembers that Bobby Roode is still employed and gives him the belt. - One big heel title run from Samoa Joe, provided he gets in shape a lil. - Same above, but with Christopher Daniels (minus the getting in shape part). - The X-Division goes back to being the spot-monkey belt. I don't mean that in a bad way, that's what it was meant to be. - If Vince Russo really is hiding Bin Laden-style somewhere in TNA, find him. Kill him. - Dixie hands creative control to someone who knows what they're doing. - TNA remember that Gail Kim is awesome and that they let Cheerleader Melissa go - TNA publicly apologizes on live tv for putting the belt on Eric Young - Gunner and Anderson pls go - So that it seems I'm not missing out any up-and-comers, push EC3 and...I dunno, Spud.
None of this will place the company any higher on the spectrum than they are right now, so it's just stuff I wanna see really.

I want them to:
-Have made a successful turnaround from their current financial woes.
-Understand their position in wrestling, accept it and work within that frame.
-Plan and execute sound marketing strategies. It would be especially great if people in the towns you travel to knew they were coming. Bring in temporary local promoters if necessary. How about not booking arenas when you can't even pull 1k people most of the time?
-Hopefully UTA will help with mainstream promotion ie. tv spots, guest appearances, magazines and such even if just at a local/regional level.
-Tour with the TV show reasonably within their recognized limits, maybe start with one region and expand outwards when it's financially viable.
-Stratify the roster. Build 3-5 worthwhile main event talents and keep them there. Stop the yo-yo-ing all over the card. Give the ball as a gift, not a loan. ie. does anyone really expect EY to be relevant in a year and not back every couple of months at best doing "crazy!" skits with ODB? Not given their booking history, not a chance in hell. Wouldn't it be amazing to have even 50% confidence in TNA's booking instead of expecting the absolute worst?
-Stop dropping everything and everyone for the latest "big" WWE star looking for a paycheck. Are the non-results of this not evident by now?
-Treat the women with respect. Give priority to talent. Remember that time they did that and it was near universally hailed as one of their few runaway successes? What happened to that?
-Replace the commentary team. Replace them with chimps, replace them with rocks, replace them with Fran Drescher impersonators, it literally cannot get any worse than it is right now.

As a veritable number two promotion and alternative to WWE with no involvement whatsoever from people who have no idea how to properly book or run a wrestling promotion. A place where people can make a good living. Not a great one for the most part, but enough to help them survive.
One that can afford to pay for all of their employees injuries when they happen in the middle of the ring; one where neither a second job nor government assistance is required to make ends meet when you work there. One where Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, and yes, Dixie Carter have all been permanently blackballed from.
In short, I'd like to see TNA turn things around, stop shooting themselves in the foot with their booking of people, go back to what brought them to the dance and start highlighting their other divisions aside from the TNA World Heavyweight title picture.
Oh, and let's finally change that horrible TNA name to something that doesn't make you feel dirty.

I couldn't care less about TNA but it took people in America all this time to come up with this mediocre pseudo-second place big wrestling promotion after the WWE, so if TNA is not gonna survive, I doubt there's ever going to be another entity that reach that level. If another group of guys want to do it, chances are it's gonna take forever to accomplish.
