Cole & JBL only. Give Lawler something else to do. Anything else to do. As long as he's not on commentary.

I'm fine with JBL and Cole. It would be nice if Smackdown had a team of William Regal and Renee Young or Byron Saxton or something. Just not the same people on both shows

I voted for Cole, JBL, and Albert. I prefer Renee as a backstage interviewer. Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Dream need to be a package deal; one without the other just doesn't feel right. I haven't seen enough of Rich Brennan to comment on his work. As posted earlier, Regal just doesn't want to. I love Riley, but he's ass at the commentary table, so I'd rather he focus on the pre/post-shows and trying to revamp his in-ring career.

Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and JBL Yeah, after much deliberation I can't come up with a more appropriate combo than those three. There are other commentators I love (like Renae) but for right now this is the best team for RAW. If I had my way, here's what team we would get for each show: RAW: Cole/King/JBL Smackdown: Cole/JBL/Renae Main Event/Superstars: Matthews/Regal NXT: Phillips/Regal/Renae

Who voted for Riley, his parents? The Miz? He's the worst commentator they have not named Byron Saxton.

God, TNA when it was entertaining, I really need to see this entire show again. Scott Steiner was remarkably gifted on commentary. Anyone remember what date this was so I can look the episode up?

Of who they currently have I'd go Cole, Renee and Regal. I'd imagine it still wouldn't be brilliant because of the backstage micro managing but still those three are the best commentators they have currently in my opinion

Definitely Regal - having him on the Raw team would be enough alone to stop me switching on the "Football Mode" feature on my home cinema system that silences commentary and leaves in just the background noise. THAT'S what that mode does? WWE is about to sound very different at my house.

It won't make a great deal of difference who's commentating as long as Vince is backstage, screaming at them through the earpiece and demanding that they talk about anything but wrestling. Yeah, he really needs to go too in terms of bothering the announce team. Unfortunately, he runs the company. Which sucks sometimes.

If I could book any possible commentary team and it didn't necessarily have to be realistic, it would be William Regal, Jim Cornette, and Vince McMahon.

51 votes for Cole? WTF?! I thought him sucking was one thing we all agreed on. Maybe if he didn't have McMahon in his ear, he'd be better. All I know is Lawler has to go. He used to be good, great even, but now his "I'm just glad to be here!" attitude and corny jokes are agonizing.
I guess the ideal would be to let Cole and JBL speak more freely and maybe put Regal in King's spot. Keep Renee in the Mean Gene role and have her commentate matches on occasion. Give Smackdown a unique commentary team. Regal and Renee?

I'm really not sold on Renee and Mumbles McStumbles as a commentary team for NXT, let alone on Raw. Renee doesn't impress me at all outside of the novelty of "wow, a girl commentating on wrestling?" and Regal is so quiet and can barely get his sentences out which is bizarre since he cuts a damn fine promo. I'm fine with the current team.

Cole and JBL are the best announcing combo the WWE has ever had, and it is not even close.

The thing I am wondering is... Is there a way for someone to balance it out? What I mean, is it possible to do commentary according to Vince screaming in your ears without coming across as obnoxious or annoying as the current RAW team? Or does doing commentary Vince's way turn everyone equally into mute button material? JR seemed to manage it. I'll never understand WWE and JR's relationship. He was a great commentator, people loved him, he shilled for whatever Vince told him too. Yet they fired and rehired and fired and made fun of him onscreen so many f***ing times.
