Did Hogan lose muscle mass before Bash at the Beach 96?

Everytime I look at the footage of Hogan's infamous turn and the official formation of nWo, Hulk always looked weird to me. It was almost like he didn't quite look like himself.



I think he's looked like this throughout his entire WCW run, but he never quite looked like himself from the WWF days until after the change to black, having that black stubble on his face, a darker tan, and so on.



I'd say that he didn't do quite as much body-toning as he did in his early years, but the Hogan that came out at BATB has a lankiness to him that I never saw before or after.

Is it just me, or did Hogan somewhat slim down at this time?

Hogan lost a tun of muscle mass in 93. Look at him at WM 9 and KOR that year. Hogan I think gain a little muscle back in WCW but from the steroid scandal, Hogan got smaller.

He was making horrible movies at that point in time so given the damage done to his reputation by the steroid trials, he most likely wanted to keep well away from the late 80's image of him as an orange muscular grotesque so slimmed down for those roles and stayed slimmed down until they dried up.

A) Skinny Hulk (Banner Hogan?)
B) Shaved Mustache Hogan
C) FUNB Terryhulk Bolleahogan.

The first Hulk Hogan died a few month before BAB, and was replaced by a less muscular guy.

That's when the beef with the ultimate warrior started. The 2nd (or was it third) Warrior loved the first Hulk and hated the second Hogan...he always held a grudge...

He looks nearly tiny--by his standards--in his WCW run and I don't think he ever really got back large arms until around his WWE return.
