After playing Kim Possible: What's the Switch?, I asked myself, "What are the best licensed games out there?". Please share your thoughts.
I'm gonna kick things off with:
Spider-Man for the PS1, N64, Dreamcast, and PC. Why? It had great gameplay, a decent story, and good graphics (for each platform). Plus there were plenty of unlockable costumes, and a What-If mode, giving the game a ton of replayability. You can't go wrong with Spider-Man.

Batman probably has more good games than bad ones.
Even the "bad" ones are mostly mediocre.

I agree with you on Spiderman.
Also:
Aladdin (SNES) - Solid platformer. Simpsons Road Rage - I actually prefer this over Crazy Taxi, since the Simpsons one was way easier to control. Tom & Jerry (NES) - Another solid platformer. MC Kids (NES) - Yeah it was similar to Mario 3, but so what? Tiny Toon Adventures 1 & 2 (NES) - 1 was a nice platformer and 2 was a fun, different game.

While we're at it, Felix the Cat for NES had no reason for being as good as it was...

Warriors for the PS2 and Ghostbusters for multiple consoles were both great games which captured the spirit of their movies and did some good world building too.

I would throw in The Warriors for PS2 in for nomination.

The fact that DuckTales isn't the first post is almost criminal.
And for that matter, the unsung hero of Capcom licensed games, the f***ing Rescue Rangers NES game.

Not a Lord of the Rings fan at all, but The Two Towers and Return of the King were both really fun.

Astro Boy: The Omega Factor (Game Boy Advanced)
It's an Astro Boy game made by Treasure the developer behind such greats as Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Contra 3, Ikaruga and much much more.
Great game play with a sprawling storyline that not only spans the Astro Boy universe, but also works in a ton of characters from Tazuka's other works as well.

I remember the Toy Story 3 game getting very solid reviews, mostly for the Toy Box Mode which might as well be a dress rehearsal for Disney Infinity.

There's a whole bunch of Dragon Ball Z games. Here is one game I believe is great.
Super Dragon Ball Z is a very underrated fighting game from the producer of Street Fighter II. The roster has 18 characters, and, unlike many DBZ games, they all feel different from each other. There's a pretty cool customization aspect, allowing you to make unique versions of anybody on the roster. Its graphical style takes cues from the manga, so Piccolo's forearms are yellow, Trunks has a light blue jacket, Goku has a different shade of orange, etc. Plus, it has adult Chi-Chi as a playable character, complete with the armor bikini she wore as a kid.

Super Star Wars trilogy deserves a nod. All very enjoyable games.
Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion on the Genesis were great games, as was The Magical Quest on the SNES.

Still wish I had it although Spider-Man 2 greatly surpassed it.
