Have you ever seen feud where you don't understand why the Heel is the Heel?
Like Steve Corino and Homicide. Sure Steve cost Homicide their tag team match but then Homicide in retaliation tries to put his eye out in the locker room? Not exactly justified.

Hulk Hogan at Bash at the Beach 1996. It was a six man tag with a mystery partner. Hall and Nash had battled valiantly and honorably in a handicap situation until their partner appeared. He wasn't Savage's partner! He was Hall and Nash's partner! Fans threw trash at a man for helping his partners legally! Ridiculous.

And a fat fan tried to get in the ring. and I never got that either because if Hogan was on the sides of the faces it would be a 4 on 2 which makes Hall and Nash seem more heroic and I think they did a damn good job of fighting 3 guys.

Chris Jericho turning heel because HBK faked a leg injury in order to win a match, and when Jericho finally trusted HBK, HBK kicked him in the face. Then people started to hate Jericho because HBK tripped and broke Y2J's TV.

Then people started to hate Jericho because HBK tripped and broke Y2J's TV. Ironic, considering HBK was hated years before because his cowardly partner broke a window.

Not quite the same thing because Bryan got more and more obnoxious as time went on. But after he won MITB, Big Show kept egging him on to cash it in against Mark Henry but as soon as Bryan took his advice (albeit cashing in on Big Show himself) all of a sudden Bryan was a coward and going about things the wrong way. That was some serious bullshit.
Like I say I understand Bryan being the heel later in the feud (obnoxiously celebrating, using AJ, ducking Show/Henry etc.) but at the start not so much.

Anything to do with Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Why wouldnt you be pissed off if your best friend was pawing your woman, helping her instead of letting the EMTs help her and leaving you high and dry in the process to get the shit beat out of you by two monsters. All the while he gets the praise for playing hero. I would have gone apeshit

The Genius really was smarter than all of us. Our hatred came from our embarrassment whenever he chose to point it out, not because he was being a jerk about it. Also, it wasn't Curt Hennig's fault that he never made any mistakes. It was our fault for pointing it out. While we're at it guys like Repo Man and IRS were just doing their jobs.
We're the real heels.

We're the real heels. I think you're a little off base there. The Repo Man was just a thief. I mean did Randy Savage really owe the hat store for his cowboy hat? Are we to believe that a collection agency contracted the Repo Man to collect on this? That seems like a stretch. Right on about IRS though. What did he ever to but expect people to do their legal and civic responsibility. If you ask me, IRS, not Hacksaw should be greeted with USA chants. And while we're at it, what did Ted Dibiase ever do but offer those less fortunate than him gainful employment and a step up? And what did he ever get for it? Resentment and abuse, that's what!

Sid Justice. He would have won the Royal Rumble. Was cheated out of it by Hogan, and then Tunney named Hogan as #1 contender to Flair's title. He had every reason to be pissed off
Ted DiBiase when he was buying Sapphire all that expensive shit. Macho was right. Who could blame Sapphire for not wanting to associate herself anymore with Dusty Rhodes?
Macho during his feud with the Warrior. Sherri asked Warrior very politely if Macho could get a title shot, which he probably deserved. Warrior said no. Macho was rightly angry about it. Had Warrior simply said "sure, Macho is a legend and a former world champion. Of course he can have a title match once I kill Sgt Slaughter" that would have been reasonable.

I'd also question why the fans thought Hogan had any obligation to Savage, when they had been enemies for much of their careers, and Hogan had been betrayed most brutally by Savage when the Mega Powers exploded. Savage deserved some payback.

Any time this is the case, it's an example of terrible booking.

If you don't understand why the heel is the heel, the story isn't properly communicated. Yeah, like Bray Wyatt. You can understand why he's a heel. It's because he leads his cult-like following... a group that loves him unconditionally and will support him no matter what, a large percentage being children. Whereas John Cena... oh.
