So I think it's pretty unanimous around here that Zayn has starred prominently in the two live NXT shows that WWE have produced so far. The matches he had on both shows have been widely praised so I was wondering what FAN thought was the better match?
For me both were exceptional but, although I prefer Cesaro to Breeze, I have to give the nod to the most recent match. I thought Zayn and Breeze tore the building down last night and give that the edge over Zayn/Cesaro.

Zayn/Breeze. Zayn/Cesaro was mostly an escalating series of kickouts - a good escalating series, but nonetheless it felt very indy/fighting spirit, much like their first match back in ROH (of which the Arrival match was practically a perfect WWE-style recreation). Zayn/Breeze did some of the same things, but was overall better-paced.
I also like the story of Zayn/Breeze a little better - Breeze as the underestimated up-and-comer was really cool.

Cesaro/Zayn for me. I wasn't invested in Zayn/Breeze,the match picked up in the last 6 minutes though so that was nice.

Cesaro vs Zayn by about 2 stars IMO. Also Zayn has the best attire in WWE.

Cesaro vs Zayn was an amazing match, one of the few that kept my attention throughout the entire thing.
Breeze vs Zayn wasn't quite as good, but it was still pretty great itself.

Cesaro vs Zayn by about 2 stars IMO. Also Zayn has the best attire in WWE. While I understand some people thinking Cesaro/Zayn was better I fail to see how you could have it two stars better. Even if you thought Cesaro/Zayn was a perfect five-star match (which I find hard to believe, it was good but not that good) then that'd mean you only thought Breeze/Zayn was a three star match which is really low in my opinion. Personally I'd have them both pegged around the 4 star mark but I thought Breeze/Zayn was slightly better personally.

I give Zayn/Cesaro a solid 8.5 while I'd give Zayn/Breeze about a 7. So I take it back about the two stars the more I think about it. However, Cesaro/Zayn was just so much more exciting to me. Zayne vs Breeze was great too.

Breeze/Zayn for me. Cesaro breaking out on the main roster at the time took away any question of who would win which hurt that one for me.

Zayne vs Breeze was great too. It's cool. Rating systems are purely subjective anyway. And I have no problem with the way you've rated them because of the subkjective element. We'll just have to agree to disagree on which one was better though. But at least we can agree both were excellent. I hope Hunter sees in Zayn what the rest of us do.

Huh? I don't think there's a cover in the first ten minutes of Zayn/Cesaro and in total about half as many kickouts as Zayn/Breeze or your typical long RAW match; that's one of the reasons I loved it.

A non-wrestling fan could watch Zayn vs Breeze and they'd see a very exciting match with standout spots.
A non-wrestling fan could watch Zayn vs Cesaro, maybe watch the promos beforehand, and they'd see how wrestling is capable of telling a beautiful story about resiliency and the human spirit. I don't know if it's just me, if it just spoke to me personally more than others, but it's probably my match of the year to this point along with the first Shield/Wyatt encounter.
