Eddie's surprise will be no match for Dominic and Rey's when it's revealed that (upside down!)SETH IS THE PAPI!

I see the logic now -
Rollins was "the architect of the Shield."
Who better to lead an anti-Shield team than the guy who put together the first one?
They have a ready-made way to put over whoever Rollins chooses as his allies against Reigns and Ambrose, if they don't just stick with Orton (God I hope they don't just stick with Orton).

Well, for now it's the: 'Seth Rollins turns on the Shield' thread. He hasn't officially joined Evolution. I hate to see the Shield break up right now and the timing is weird since the Shield beat Evolution at back to back PPVs. Depending on where WWE goes from here, this could be considered the start of something great for Seth. I sure hope so. It's also possible we look back on this as a horrible booking decision that ruined Seth's career. Wait and see. Changed to Aligns With, since that makes more sense

For now, I'll be in denial and hope that somehow this is some sort of overly elaborate plan to destroy Evolution from the inside.

Idiocy. Sheer idiocy. They threw away one of the strongest, greatest, highest potential stables in wrestling history on a lame, random RAW in the middle of the down season.
We can only hope this is all part of the Shield's plan in order to get one over on HHH again, but I don't think that's going to happen.

I mean there are quite a few way for this to work. Could just make it Rollins is upset that he isn't getting enough credit for him killing himself. Could make it that he was paranoid that he thought Reign and Ambrose will turn on him first so he made sure to beat them to the punch. Could just make it that Rollins felt that the shield group was holding back his career of being a main event star etc. The first and third one don't really do it for me. Dude just got finished winning the biggest match of his career because he was such a huge risk-taker. The Shield was doing better than ever. The second one would be an intersting route to, I'll admit. Even then, I'm still not feeling it. I don't know, maybe they can make sense of this in the coming shows but right now it feels like a Russo "Why? Because why not?" turn. They took the boss's best efforts and kicked his ass at every turn so how Triple H has anything to bargain with is really hard for me to take.

I didn't really mind this swerve because it was unexpected. Honestly, that's the thing that really pisses me off about this turn. It doesn't make a lot of sense from a storyline perspective, it just feels like a swerve for the sake of swerve. It sucks, but there is continuity. When they teased a split in February, Rollins was the one who walked out. I dare not give them the credit that entails though. Right now my mind is racing with possible scenarios, almost like a defence mechanism. That hoping someone from NXT getting called up (Neville) to replace Rollins, I think indicates how 'traumatic' (/s) that Raw was.

The only thing that could save this thing is if another person joins and they become the 4 Horsemen

Rollins will troll everyone and say that the Shield having a 3-2 advantage over Evolution wasn't justice.

It's shocking and it sucks, but wtf were they supposed to do for the next three months? Feud with RyBaxel? Compete against each other in the MITB? Something had to be done. I think considering his history with the Shield in the past and his friendship with HHH, I think having Sheamus be added with the heels would have been smart.

Nothing left to do? They'd just started the face run a couple of months ago. Evolution is their second feud. Fighting actual injustice had such long legs as a story. Exactly. Booking today sucks anymore. The Freebirds, 4 Horsemen, nWo and so forth had more than 18 months of life in yhem. It's like saying break up the Roadwarriors because they were so dominant.

This really needed to be Russo-esque honestly, if they did some foreshadowing we would have picked up on it instantly and all the shock value will have gone. This is a turn that's easy to explain next week. Let's face it, Rollins was never going to get a title shot whilst part of The Shield, take one look at Bryan and you can see the kinda shit you have to get through to get the title if Hunter doesn't like you, the WWE title should be the main goal for almost every wrestler that laces up their boots.

The fact that he's the storyline owner of the company and basically has infinite rewards with which to tempt even the noblest of souls? THOUGH SETH ROLLINS MORE LIKE SNAKE ROLLINS! Yeah that's right, he talked USA into not only picking up Chrisley Knows Best but to get it renewed for life.

Sheamus is too established for Evolution. On paper he is equal to Orton and HHH, whereas Rollins fits as a "future" guy.

I'm just thinking why? No fanfare, no signs that Rollins of all people should have a reason to turn against the Shield. Seriously, it's just way too complicated, but I'm hoping this is like how Daniel Bryan joined the Wyatts only to screw them back at the right moment. Not exactly the best sounding idea, but right now it makes some tiny bit of sense on this completely screwy moment.
