I don't really mind the turn, but this gif is too funny.

I didn't really mind this swerve because it was unexpected. Honestly, that's the thing that really pisses me off about this turn. It doesn't make a lot of sense from a storyline perspective, it just feels like a swerve for the sake of swerve. Seth had walked out on The Shield in the past but they seemed to patch that up. It's not completely out of character, Rollins doesn't seem to like his "brothers" as much as Ambrose and Reigns do.

I mean there are quite a few way for this to work. Could just make it Rollins is upset that he isn't getting enough credit for him killing himself. Could make it that he was paranoid that he thought Reign and Ambrose will turn on him first so he made sure to beat them to the punch. Could just make it that Rollins felt that the shield group was holding back his career of being a main event star etc. The first and third one don't really do it for me. Dude just got finished winning the biggest match of his career because he was such a huge risk-taker. The Shield was doing better than ever. The second one would be an intersting route to, I'll admit. Even then, I'm still not feeling it. I don't know, maybe they can make sense of this in the coming shows but right now it feels like a Russo "Why? Because why not?" turn.

Well if you ignore all the Shield dissension from earlier this year with Rollins walking out, yeah it had no backstory at all.... None of which they've hinted it for months. Ya can't completely abandon a plot thread mid-way through the story, then come back to it outta nowhere. Okay, let's forget about that. What's wrong with Rollins just coming out next week on Raw and saying "I did it for the glory, I did it for the stardom, I did it for the money, I did it because I want to the face of the WWE". What more explanation does he need?

Somewhere between Seth leaping 10 feet in the air to save his friends and hanging out with them all night on RAW he was approached by HHH, bartered with and turned.

And just like that, everything is ruined.
So much for the new golden era.

And even if you make the tenuous "it's continuity cuz they sorta teased a break-up like six months ago" connection, this is still like Meadowlark Lemon saying 'f*** the Globetrotters, I'm joining the Generals'.

I was so sad like a child again I wasn't this sad about WWE since Bryan losing at SummerSlam in 5 minutes. I don't like it because it makes no sense at all.

Reigns would have been a better option IMO. However, I remember when we thought we were getting Rollins vs Riegns vs Ambrose at Mania and some thought Ambrose and Reigns were gonna be the bigger stars while Rollins was gonna be the next Kofi. So I'm glad Rollins is associated with Triple H. I just hope this will be a good angle.

"Some days are just bad days, that's all. You have to experience sadness to know happiness, and I remind myself that not every day is going to be a good day. That's just the way it is." - Dita Von Teese.
This is very heartbreaking and stupid, that I cannot deny. But at least although it may seem like it, this bad time won't last forever.

My take in the Raw thread I'll repeat here: I'll tell you why people don't like it, or at least me. Cuz creatively, it makes no damned sense right now for Rollins character. We've been shown nothing at all that would indicate any sort of turn. Some hint, anything, would've been fine and been interesting. But to just out of nowhere join the side that you and your 'brothers' just kicked their asses repeatedly? Creatively, that makes ZERO sense. Instead, what we're gonna get is a promo next week completely flying in the face of 'show, don't tell'. It's story writing 101, and instead, they went for "ooh, shocking!" That's why it's bad. It's just so pro wrestling I guess. Where things just happen in spite of logic and I can't tell if it's user error on our part to expect anything else or if the presentation of professional wrestling really needs an overhaul. Seth's act as part of the authority will probably end up being very entertaining in the end but it sucks that it's at the expense of sense and reason, either done for a cheap thrill or complete impatience. I don't expect much sophistication out of pro wrestling but I wish they could do better than this.

God, was this ever a Russo swerve or what? I mean the picture of Russo was like the 3rd post on the 1st page. Frankly I think they turned the wrong guy. Ambrose is definitely a heelish sort that seems like he'd be more inclined to turn on his partners, although I guess he's too much of a weirdo to really fit the Evolution mold. Ironically, Reigns is probably the best fit for Evolution if you put him in the suits and all that.

Ya can't completely abandon a plot thread mid-way through the story, then come back to it outta nowhere. Agreed. It's completely nonsensical WCW circa 2000 booking which was what I hated most about WCW towards its end. It literally makes zero sense unless Rollins is given a world title match or becomes Bryan's next major feud and I don't think he will get either so where does that leave us?

Oh so the prototypical reason anyone does anything in the WWE barring main eventers? Yeah great booking

The logic behind this is weak. Why would Seth do that dive at Payback and humiliate Evolution 3-0 only to join the chumps straight after? Why wouldn't you do it at Payback and save yourself a pedigree of a steel chair and risking death by diving off the titantron if the offer was on the table to join? Where does Batista fit in all of this, is Seth his replacement, was it just chance he left when Seth joined. Why didn't Hunter inform Batista of this?
I'll give it a RAW for them to explain, but this seems pretty stupid.
I think Raw is kind of like the anti-Game of Thrones. Whenever something shocking like the Red Wedding happens, the audience immediately figures out why the betrayal happened, there's no waiting till next week for the explanation.

This RAW SUCKED Wyatts and Usos was good The rest of it was some of the worst decision making I've seen in years from them. I really can't wait until Vince is gone from this company. I don't really view Trips as being some sort of saviour when he takes over(depending on how much power he actually has now/wear said power lies)
