Rollins must be getting a World title shot for his betrayal. There is no other logical explanation for this

I'm only in support of this if Rollins wins MitB while Bryan faces Kane for the title.

I like it.
I personally think Rollins is the weakest member of the now former Shield. I think the other two members have intangibles that Seth doesn't and will be able to transition to singles easier than Seth would. I think him moving to be alongside Orton and HHH will help Seth more than it would the other two. It's a smart move for the long term. Even for Evolution it makes sense.
Raw sucked, but I'm glad they finally made the move towards dissolving the Shield and I thought it was the best part of the show.

My take in the Raw thread I'll repeat here:
I'll tell you why people don't like it, or at least me.
Cuz creatively, it makes no damned sense right now for Rollins character. We've been shown nothing at all that would indicate any sort of turn. Some hint, anything, would've been fine and been interesting. But to just out of nowhere join the side that you and your 'brothers' just kicked their asses repeatedly? Creatively, that makes ZERO sense.
Instead, what we're gonna get is a promo next week completely flying in the face of 'show, don't tell'. It's story writing 101, and instead, they went for "ooh, shocking!"
That's why it's bad.

I liked it.
Good continuity from earlier this year with Rollins being the main point of dissension in the group. Plus I really liked Reigns "WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?" fall and Ambrose's WHAT DA HAIL face.

There was really nothing left for The Shield to do, someone had to turn. Would have preferred it to be Reigns, but Rollins turning was worth it for Ambrose's reaction alone. That made it worth it

A) They better have a great f***ing explanation for it.
B) A little touch from last night, but Rollins got his pin on Batista (although, it still doesn't make sense that he decided to join them after beating the shit out of them less than a day before).

It's ok. Fan favorite superface Ambrose is going to lead the company into a new era. Remember all the NWO shirts? That's nothing compared to the billions of dollars in NOPE merch that'll be flying off the shelves. NwOPE

I didn't really mind this swerve because it was unexpected. Honestly, that's the thing that really pisses me off about this turn. It doesn't make a lot of sense from a storyline perspective, it just feels like a swerve for the sake of swerve. I mean there are quite a few way for this to work. Could just make it Rollins is upset that he isn't getting enough credit for him killing himself. Could make it that he was paranoid that he thought Reign and Ambrose will turn on him first so he made sure to beat them to the punch. Could just make it that Rollins felt that the shield group was holding back his career of being a main event star etc.

I don't like it. It made no sense. They could have broken them up some other way. maybe a 3 way?

Ya can't completely abandon a plot thread mid-way through the story, then come back to it outta nowhere.

I didn't really mind this swerve because it was unexpected. Of course it was unexpected. That's because it didn't make any sense. A swerve for the sake of swerving. Not a single thought of actually trying to tell a proper story.

Nothing left to do?
They'd just started the face run a couple of months ago. Evolution is their second feud.
Fighting actual injustice had such long legs as a story.

Well, for now it's the: 'Seth Rollins turns on the Shield' thread. He hasn't officially joined Evolution.
I hate to see the Shield break up right now and the timing is weird since the Shield beat Evolution at back to back PPVs.
Depending on where WWE goes from here, this could be considered the start of something great for Seth. I sure hope so. It's also possible we look back on this as a horrible booking decision that ruined Seth's career. Wait and see.

It's absolutely heartbreaking and I hate it but not because it's bad booking or whatever, I'm just legitimately upset at Seth Rollins being a bastard. I marked out negatively when it happened.
The Shield had to end. I had always hoped they'd all stay friends and go their separate ways but realistically someone was gonna turn heel. The fact that it was the least expected 'nice' guy of the group is just really cool I think. Heartbreaking but really cool.
