I work at Walmart, and for the past month, instead of working at my store in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, I've been working at the new store in Seabrook, New Hampshire, getting the new store ready, as they just became a Super Center, meaning it is a post office away from being able to declare itself its own sovereign nation -- it has everything.
The Seabrook store is a lot closer to where I live than the Chelmsford store is, and today my transfer request was approved, and I now work at the Seabrook store.
I had to step down from my current position as Department Manager, and will be working overnight, so while on paper, it is a demotion, I'm going to be making almost $2 more/hour.
And the crazy thing is I start tomorrow, which kind of sucks, because I didn't get a real chance to say good-bye to most of the other department managers, and others on days that I worked with, since most of them had already left, before I returned to Chelmsford to talk to the store manager.

I've seen Super Wal-Marts in the past. Wasn't sure if they were still a thing, because I was under the impression that a "Super Wal-Mart" was a regular WalMart with a grocery store, and when WalMart put groceries in all stores, they ceased to have the "Super Centers".
Then again, I was wondering if I'd ever see a Super Target again...

So what's the difference between a super center and a regular Walmart?
