That really annoyed me.
Here is everything I found wrong with this match
Overall thoughts: It was actually not a bad match per say, but it wasn't really good, the work put in was good but the booking ruined it, it did nothing for either person, that and the logic were really the only thing that really made me annoyed. I'll give it ***.
Here is everything I found wrong with this match
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}1) Johnny Devine never seemed like a legitimate threat until halfway through the match. I understand he's a chicken shit heel but still.
2) The first three rounds all ended the same way. I can understand doing that a few times in the match but it would have made more sense to do so towards the end
3) I don't remember which round it was but there was a round in there where all of the offense was chairshots. The face Camikaze looked stupid and the heel looked tough for kicking out of three straight chair shots to the head this not only gave him the lead but actually got me hoping Cam would lose because of his stupidity.
4) The Belt shot, It just seemed strange to me that Johnny can kick out of three chair shots to the head but a shot to the head with the belt keeps him down for more than 30 seconds.
5) Johnny Divine in the last round finally starts looking like an intelligent heel trying to run out the clock ad then ties up the score by hitting his opponent with a kendo stick to get DQ'd and tie up the score.
It's like those old Wacky Races Cartoons where Dick Dastardly probably would have won if he didn't stop to cheat.
And then after that he hits his finisher and wastes about 20 seconds taunting before covering.
6) In the end it didn't really make either person look great. The Heel was put into position to win because the face was stupid , and then he threw it all away because he decided to be an idiot rather than running out the clock like someone with half a brain.
